Where do I began... I came in as a guest to a birthday party. Everything was fine in the beginning as far as being welcomed into the business. I went over to the table and filled out the waver form. Once the family who was hosting the party arrived things went far left! The manager who refused to give her name but referred to herself as the regional manager was extremely rude. As a lifelong citizen of this county as well as a Harford Leadership Academy MemberI have NEVER BEEN MORE EMBARRASSED TO HAVE SUGGESTED A HARFORD COUNTY BUSINESS TO SOMEONE ELSE. I personally had an account with kiddie crusoe with another mother to take my son and his play dates here as well as personally recommended the business to every young parent I have met either through the school system or just in passing for things to do in Harford that are like secret gems! The host brought in a veggie platter, fruit tray and cupcakes. After being told she could not bring it in, she asked for a refund or she just wanted to do a free play. Which is $12 per child, as to which only would equate to $96 so it was fine. She said "refunds are against company policy" but she said we could just switch to free play. During free plays you can bring in snacks so the platters where fine as we where told by the manager. She said just eat the platters and cupcakes before we played. When I said "well that means we have to sing Happy Birthday right now, can we just let them eat first (the platters)and sing (eat the cupcakes) later after they play" she became irrational. She then said " I was trying to help you people now you cant have any food take it all to the car." We said ok this is ridiculous and we where just going to let the kids play and sing happy birthday later. Then her next response was " No you cant have the cupcakes either because thats not a snack! We only allow bag lunches as snacks I was being nice letting you even have a platter" the other three employees where shocked she was even acting like that and kept apologizing behind her back. I kept asking for the manager over her and she kept saying she was the regional manager and she ran Timoniums location as well as the one in Belcamp. Unaware that I knew she was not being straight forward and I asked for Nicki. She still refused saying " you can go to the website and contact someone through there." Then she said "you know what here, take this money and get out!" I was appalled, I said "that is against your company policy" and she said " well it can come out of my check!" And then she secretly went to the side and called the police! One of the employees told me she was calling and she was appalled. When they came the three employees confirmed we did absolutely nothing wrong, and confirmed to the officers that everything that I said was in fact the truth. The officer apologized to me after we talked outside but informed me he was going to have to ask us to leave because the manager of the establishment refused service. Which was fine, but I made sure I did not leave until he got there because I did not want her to say something false, which her employees confirmed to the police she tried to do. She said we where now bullying her. How absurd? I was the keynote speaker for the Women of Promise conference that was hosted at the Bata Club by Harford County Public Schools. I WOULD NEVER! I mentor too many young girls affected by bullying. Upon leaving the officer again apologized and said I wouldnt even come back here consider somewhere else next year for a party, a place in Columbia that is way better that his family used for their sons party and everyone had a awesome time. Nicki I apologize I even have to write this because in the past I did enjoy your business but the woman you have in there now who refused to give her name or yours is bad for business. You never know who comes through your door, and everyone should be treated with the upmost respect. Im glad everyone else I have referred has not had this problem (most recently the Lyons party as well as todays) but Im sad it had to come to this.

If I could write this without any stars I would. It was a horrible experience thanks to the manager on duty, Shannan who said she was from Timonium! My party was at 1 and normally we arrive and we are escorted to our room. She greets me and says we have no access to the room until 230pm. First she told me its always been that way until I let her know Ive had several parties there and thats not true. Then she said it changed. I told her it was ridiculous and I should have been told about it. I noticed a room that was dark and peeked in and it was decorated but it wasnt our room. Around 2, another party arrives and guess what? They are immediately taken to their room, the dark room. I asked her why were they allowed to go and she said she realized they made a mistake. That should have been my room and the other room would have been ready for them when they arrived. I said so basically you lied instead of telling me you messed up. I was PISSED! Well we finally get in our room around 245pm and guess what now? NO HOST - THE WHOLE TIME! I went out there to her and asked her where was our host and she said well where are you at with the party now - I told her its over. She said well your package didnt come with a host - thats why she wasnt in there. WRONG! Every package comes with a host and I had the deluxe package. I told her until you have someone call me, Im not paying the balance. Oh, let me not forget to mention that while we were waiting for our room, our pizza arrived in sat in a corner. I left Kiddie Crusoe and about 30 minutes later my card was charged and INCORRECTLY!!! I called to talk to her and said I just left and you charged my card - she said hold on - and hung up! I called back four times - no answer. I have now emailed twice and Im waiting to hear back from someone. My guests, myself and my family members will no longer use Kiddie Crusoe! It is very sad that they employ people with no integrity and no backbone. It ruined the day and Kiddie Crusoe has always been my sons favorite. We had his party there last year and he loved it so much we came again. Thanks to Shannan she has ruined it for us.

Will never come here again. The play areas were nice and well maintained, but the staff ruined it. Staff was poorly trained. The cost for a party for what you get is outrageous $300+ for 10 people that the staff are just going to talk down to. Everyone in my party commented on the lack of respect from the staff. the manager was by far the worst person of them all she was very rude and indignant to me. She spoke to me not only as if I was a child, but she had the most condescending tone of any management level employee I have ever met. Everyone who knows me, knows I am a very calm and relaxed go with the flow person, and my fiance was furious when she saw how disappointed I was with the staff, I had to ask her not to make a scene because at the end of the day its my daughters birthday, however dont make the mistake I did and waste your hard earned money in such a poorly run establishment. One of the staff members decided after I told my daughter to play on her birthday and that she didnt have to come eat any cake yet but the staff member had to go and get my daughter and pull her Kicking and Screaming to come and eat cake when I asked the staff member not to I am not a confrontational person so I did not reprimand the staff member however I will never have my kids at this location again due to this utter disrespect for what I asked. Also youre not allowed to buy any kind of snacks while youre there if you didnt bring enough for you if you have extra people come with you and you want to buy extra snacks its an impossibility youre not allowed to bring anything in and youre not even allowed to purchase anything the day of an event how crazy is that. Its basically business to allow your customers to impulse buy. What happens if you run out of chips? Well at this place you are out of luck. If I pay for a room and want my guested well taken care of you should allow me to do so. In summation, I still cannot comprehend what in the world makes this staff think they are above everyone else who has the audacity to have an event held there, but as I have said many times in this review, I will not be back.
