I used to love coming here. That is why I bought the hot summer nights tickets for my husband and me for our anniversary. We will be selling our last set of tickets for the Jake Owens concert because we will never return to this establishment. My husband was asked to leave the patio in front of Howl at the moon by a large man named Paul. It was not explained in depth of why he was being asked to leave; only that someone complained that my husband tried to touch someone. The only person my husband touched all night was me and it was not inappropriately. My husband gave up his seat and got another seat so that two women who were standing for a long time could sit down and he stood and spoke with one of the ladies husband. We go out to have a good time and meet new people. We are not shy and we are very nice and respectful people. My husband is a wonderful, caring, hard working, respectable man. His feelings were crushed and I was in raged at the accusations of this man Paul who was extremely rude. We spent a lot of good honest money on these tickets and also on food and drinks from these last 2 concerts. We are very good tippers to our bartenders/barmaids and waiters/waitresses. I attended the Magic Mike event at PBR this year and have has several VIP events at Angel Rock Bar for birthdays. I just wanted to inform you of this incident and make you aware that we will never again be spending any of our money attending any events, restaurants or bars at Power Plant Live again.

One of the worst bar experiences Ive had. We registered with our party group and were told "$30pp for free beer and mixed drinks" They gave us a small plastic cup. The price was actually $65 for two people (sales tax maybe?) and the only free beers were Miller Lite, Yuengling, and another cheap one. We decided no big deal keep the night rolling...went to PBR (a bar in Power Plant), the bartender asked for $3 for the beer he served us in the cup. I said "No, its free." and walked away. We then went to the bar with the mechanical bull and checked our coats. On our way out, we gave the numbered coat check tag and they had lost our coats. It took 30-40 minutes to find them and Power Plant security didnt seem to care at all. I would not recommend this location or go back if Im in Baltimore again.

Powerplant is a good location for events. It gives you options for bars and eateries. But the nightlife is very hit or miss. Some nights there can be a good crowd and other nights it can be totally lame and youre left wondering where everyone is. There is ZERO variety in venues. With all of the different bars it would be nice if there was one spot with urban/hip hop, another spot with Top 40 and another with EDM BUT NO. They tend to hire these lame DJs that all play the same thing. Can these places please hire a radio DJ and not the DJ who only gets hired for weddings?! This is the kind of place most times that the music drives you to want to drink since that is really the only way you can enjoy such lame selections by the DJ. So in conclusion, Powerplant is just "okay".

Yeah, its expensive, its next to one of the most expensive restaurants in the city... if you are planning to spend less than $100, this may not be the place for you to spend your night. If you are looking to have a great time, especially with a group of friends, this is the place to do it. Different types of bars to make everyone happy, angels and pbr being the most popular(and most expensive). Worth going at least once. If you go with a group, you will most certainly have a good time. I saw some people saying the place is racist? Most of the bars do have a basic dress code. No overly baggy clothes, plain white t-shirts, or Jerseys on non gamedays. I assume the reviewers saying the place is racist did not meet the very well posted dress code.

Good for a night on the town if you want to stay in the Inner Harbor area, but there are better bar scenes in Baltimore (Fells is the best, IMO). If you want to dance and get trashed (and dont care how much that costs you) this is a good place to go. An eclectic mish-mash of bars all in one enclosed area, but very commercialized. Leinenkugals beer garden is actually a decent place for craft beer, but most of the bars will have the mainstay beers and liqours. The mexican place, and pizza place are both decent places to get food, but as mentioned above, pricey.

So I lost my ticket for my coat and was told to come back at 1:45 am. The security guard said I could not enter until all customers had left. So I was outside with no coat in 36 degrees F for twenty minutes. There was a whole line of us waiting and freezing. If I had waited until the customers were gone, the bars would be closed so I could not pick up my coat. I could not think of any legitimate reason for having this rule, so I asked the guy why, and he said "because its the rule." and then threatened to have me arrested if I enter the place that night.

This place used to be really wild and crazy a few years ago. I mean women galore. Its watered down now. Its still a nice place to go to get out of the house. You have multiple bars and good food selections to choose from here. I met a chick there and she wanted me to carry her on my back to the exit. I put her on my back and before we made it to the exit one of the security (girls) told us no horse playing. I didnt understand because the security men didnt say anthing about it! Long story short I will never go here again!!

Went to a concert at Rams Head, which was pretty cool, it wasnt too crowded. We then stopped at a bar next door afterwards for drinks because they had a small live band, and that was fun. We got a parking discount in the garage there for going to the concert, so that was nice. ONly bad thing is all of the homeless people there asking for handouts. I feel bad for them, but I was glad I was with my boyfriend, I dont know that I would feel comfortable walking through there that late at night on my own as a female.

Pretty cool building. The Barnes and Nobles in the center is huge and it was fun to browse both floors and look at the interior architecture. Lots of restaurants and bars up and down the building. We were there during early evening so it was still kinda family friendly with lots of people eating outside. There was music playing outside the different restaurants and bars and we saw bands setting up for the night. Looks like a nice spot for drinks and bar hopping or just hanging out at night.

If youre going on a Saturday night, youre in for a $10 cover at the entrance and then at least a $5 cover if you go to one of the clubs, like Mosaic. The bouncers are unfriendly and the drinks are fairly weak after youre inside at any of the single clubs. Its a mixed crowd, but if youre under 35, you will probably feel at home. Im honestly never going back. You can have a much better night at Fells or Federal Hill if you like the bar scene and Ottobar if you like dancing.
