Edit: We came back again because we were curious due to the high reviews of the food. However, we waited a long time to get our food and it was nothing special. The macaroni, crab and apricot sauce was good, wine was ok and the rest was average quality. Its not worth the price, but it has a cozy atmosphere if you sit near the back. Old: When we came to the place around 8:30 at night, they said the kitchen was closing. We hung around the area and two more people came by after us, only to shortly leave the place as well. If it says online that the place closes at 10, why did the cafe close early? And why isnt the cafes hours online? We hardly get to see each other lately so it really put a huge damper into our night and we were really looking forward to trying their food.

Participated in the Rose tasting offered at BT last night and walked away very disappointed. While they offered 8 different wines for tasting (for the somewhat pricey $15 tasting fee), it didnt take long for palate fatigue to set in, given the tartness and acidity of the rose. So, in a place that already offers up some great food, youd think they would have at least had a crostini or two available, right? Not even a cracker! I was amazed that a wine shop doesnt appreciate how much food can enhance the taste of a wine and help to showcase its properties. But, sadly enough, the BT folks missed one of the most effective "tricks" for selling wine -- along with the chance to sell at least six bottles to my friends and me (our average purchase at other wine tastings).

A friend and I went on a Saturday evening for the live jazz. The music was delightful. We shared a bottle of Argentinean Malbec ($30.00 well worth it) which had a lovely pungent start and finished with a lightness. We shared 2 appetizers and 1 entree. The food was rather enjoyable, the service was acceptable. Returning this evening with another friend. The whole bill with with tip was around $60.00.

The best little hole in the wall! We only recently started going, as we originally thought it was just a wine shop. It is so nice to grab a glass of good wine and listen to some live jazz. Certain staff members are not the warmest or friendliest but I have never had a bad experience.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat in Richmond! Not only is the food great, but the service is attentive and everyone who works there is very knowledgeable on wine. I love the bruschettas and all of the cheese plates. HIGHLY recommend!!

Love this place. On the weekends when they serve food in the back, the food is always good and its nice to be able to get wine at a reasonable price!

Food is really good. Service is a little slow. Large open space, not very warm. Would me great for Girls Night out.

Great wine and beer selection. The wine tastings and accompanying tapas are great too.

They set table up for us outside just so we could bring our dog and enjoy wine.
