Great park on the shore of Ohio River. Quite peaceful and a good place for outdoor activities for both, adults and kids. The parking is free and there is a childrens play area just as you enter the place. There are tracks for cycling and trails. Beautiful views of two bridges on either side - I-64 on one side and I-65 on another. When we went there were people with their kids learning cycling or playing on their own in the play area. There were people jogging or just having a leisure walk along the trail. There were a couple of adults playing various outdoor games. Some of the trees are perfectly apart to tie a hammock and relax reading your favorite book. There are benches and large swings where you can sit back and enjoy the view. Overall, a great place to be if you want to take a moment off from the busy life and enjoy the nature for a while.

Some of the park is nice but the real waterfront trail looks like a darn flood hit it. It was dirty, had debris on it and looked like it had basically been flooded and no one has cleaned it up. It really seems just like a park for locals to host events at and picnics not much for tourists but some photos. I liked that one part had some swings and a connection to the big four bridge, which is something great for tourists.

One of my favorite hang out spots. There are free outdoor exercise classes, you can rent bikes, walk the bridge to Indiana or enjoy a number of festivals throughout the year. It is a pretty inexpensive date location or good place to bring the family. Their is limited parking and it is a popular location to be prepared to walk.

Great place to spend the day relaxing and having fun. Bring the kids, bring the family, or just spend a day to yourself. Go shopping, walk the bridge, bike rentals, segway tours, park and playground, swings in the park. Plenty for anyone and everyone to do here.

I enjoyed my visit here with friends while visiting Louisville. It is not very commercial like the Riverwalk in San Antonio and other river wlaks, but it is a good start. Peaceful but in some parts could use some maintenance.

Great for ultimate frisbee or flag football games, concerts or dog walks. Plenty of benches or grass to sit. And theres a lot of space so privacy isnt an issue. Unfortunately they charge $3 for parking now.

Parking needs to be free! There are too many other locations to visit. This park has access to the Big Four walking bridge, the Ohio river and several restaurants nearby.
