Overall, we had a good experience here for my sons birthday party. Here are the pros and cons to consider if you are planning a birthday here. PROS: * The food options are good. Much better than a lot of places you would go for a kids birthday party * There are places for adults to sit, so there isnt a lot of awkward standing around. * There are a LOT Of options for things kids can do. It can be overwhelming, but the kids love it. * There is a full bar, if adults choose to partake. * Clean up and set up was well organized . CONS: * Its very pricey for parties and the add-ons accumulate FAST. For example, $5 game cards are included with parties, but you basically have to spring for the unlimited play cards because $5 is only a couple of games (which will be gone in 5 minutes). So, plan on spending an extra $5 per kid for the unlimited 2-hour card, in addition to the cost of your party. Also, I had a $9 charge for 3 pitchers of water, which I thought was kinda steep (I mean, its water). Also, the price of your party is per-person, which can sometimes be hard to determine. I only included children in my guest count, because they are the only ones who would require bowling shoes and game cards. BUT, thats also how the food order is determined. If you want the adults to eat also (who wouldnt), plan on ordering extra food (again, this place is all about add-ons). * We chose bowling as our activity and it was a bit unorganized (because the party host, of course, is busy with other things like getting drinks and food orders). My advice is to get some adults to volunteer to lead the activities. * Because there is so much going on, dont expect exceptional, speedy food and drink service. It just isnt happening. * If the kids dont want to participate in an activity (i.e. they dont want to bowl), they have to wait an hour before its over to eat and play in the arcade (unless they want to pay themselves). I had a couple of kiddos who didnt want to bowl and were awkwardly sitting around for an hour. You may want to tell those types of guests to come at a later time. There was also an issue where my card was returned to me when I was paying for my party (keep in mind, its a $400 + party). The manager gave it back to the party host and told her to tell me "It doesnt work, we need another card." Confused, I simply wiped it off on my pants and sent it back to try again and it worked. I tell this story to make the point that patience is a bit lacking because of the crowds and excitement, so things like this may happen. It didnt ruin my night by any means, but understand the staff are dealing with lots of people at once and you will enjoy your time much more if you just go with the flow. OVERALL: Overall, our experience was about as good as you can get with a kids birthday party. Just go in with some patience, tolerance for crowds, and dont be cheap (because you WILL spend money). The kids will have a good time and itll be worth it.

Never have a birthday party here. It was a Saturday at 6pm and our first time there. The party reservation person told us to arrive 15 minutes early which we did. We waited in line for 15 minutes while the hostess took orders for the group in front of us. When we checked in with the hostess she took down shoe sizes and drink orders for the kids that were already present, then told us to wait in the lobby for our party server. Another 15 minutes later a young girl called out my daughters name and had us follow her to area to get bowling shoes. She was completely frazzled and had no clue what was going on. She admitted to me that she had gotten "thrown in to this party". She then moved us along to the bowling area. About this time other kids were showing up. She kept running around and I had to go upfront to the hostess and ask for assistance with the bowling screen because we couldnt get it to work. I had to get the shoes for the rest of the party from the bowling area. We then had a different server for about next 30 minutes and she was rushing us to go to the private party area for the kids to eat. The private party room is actually an open area with rows of tables. Once in this area we had a different server and she tried to serve us pizzas when we actually ordered the burgers and chips. The food was disgusting. The burger looked like school lunch food, and the few adults that ordered food had to wait 30 minutes for their food. A different server came to our table and asked if we wanted the bowling pin for everyone to sign that came with the birthday package. Why wouldnt we want it? She then asked if needed a marker to sign it? What else are we going to sign it with?? So after the cake the 1rst server we had came to the table and told us that my daughter had to hurry up and open her gifts because we had to be at the gravity ropes course in 20 minutes. When it came to pay the rest of the bill, a different server brought us our bill, I handed her my debit card and she walked to another table and left it sitting on that table! I walked over and picked up my card and went to the cashier, that sever came back and grabbed it out of her hand and told us to follow her to the gravity ropes. We stood in line for the gravity ropes for 10 minutes when the operator of the ropes told us to come back in 15 minutes because there was too many people! We then had the kids use their $5 cards to play games, but the games were so expensive they only got to play about 3 games. I then looked up at the gravity ropes area and the operator had let on another group and we were supposed to be next. For $250 for 10 kids at a party I was extremely disappointed. It was complete chaos, and very unorganized. The food is horrible and overpriced. We were supposed to have 1 party coordinator and we had several that herded us from place to place like we were cattle. I will never be back there again and with this type of management the place will not be open for long.

Lets see what can I say about The Main Event? Well for starters the atmosphere is very nice, very nice people and very secure environment for family and kids. The food is probably one of the best parts. My wife and I ordered two entrees one of which was the salmon and I must say it was very nicely portioned. It came with a big salad and very lemon zesty artichoke. My wife had this Skillet macaroni and cheese it was accompanied by crushed up bits of Cheez-Its which was very good. They had a enjoyable bar staff that was very knowledgeable on making drinks and recommending some as well. However I will say if you are able to make it to the bar which is a horrible task all its own then you are my hero. The bar was attended by four bartenders who could barely keep up with their job, there was so many dirty dishes covered the bar there wasnt enough room to even rest an elbow. Now getting one of the bartenders at attention was another nightmare. My wife and I stayed at the bar at least 45 minutes before we were even approached by a bartender and we still had to yell at her and wave a $20 bill in her face. After eating a nice meal my wife and I Moseyed on over to play laser tag. They had a large double story Arena pitch black with only black lights to lead the way. It was a lot of fun. But Midway through the game My phaser turned off for at least 10 to 15 mins. Then it came back on and change the side I was on erasing all my points and everything. I thought to myself no big deal Id find one of the workers to help me but quickly realized none of them were in there supervising. I had to walk around doing nothing until the game was over to tell one of the workers what had happened. His response was "Yeah theyre a bunch of them that arent working." Which to me made no sense at all because if there where ones that were not working, then why were they not removed from game play in the first place. I asked him if I could get a refund or at least play another round for free and he repeated himself and said that there was nothing that he could do and didnt recommend anyone else for me to talk to so I could get the problem resolved. And theyre went 30 minutes of my time and $10 of my budget. Now I will say I understand that this is a newly-built property so theres not going to be much experience with the people the staff there nor organization with the administration that own the place. So furthermore I would not recommend this place at least for another year to anyone until they have their staff and accommodations in order.
