The first time I went to Pinz it was with a few of my friends to scope the place out for a going away party. The atmosphere is really comfortable- lots of open space and comfortable couches, darts, pool tables, bags, bowling, a bar, televisions. They have a good bottled beer selection, the standards on tap, and they mix a pretty good cocktail. I stuck with my standby vodka drink but they do have a specialty cocktail menu with bloody marys, martinis, and margaritas. We sat at the bar and I shared a buffalo chicken wrap & sweet potato fries with my friend, and both were very tasty. Prices all very reasonable. We decided to go ahead and have my friends going away party there and planned it for last night- Pinz was REMARKABLY easy to work with on this. We had plenty of space, a great server, and they checked in with us often to make sure we were doing well. All the people we dealt with were friendly and attentive, and quick to get us what we needed. Their pizza is a good deal and its great- Id go back just for that crust! A couple other people ordered the Pinz platter to share, and my brother ordered some appetizers. Everyone seemed to like what they got, no one had any complaints. Its way better than the typical bowling alley fare for sure. Im looking forward to going back and trying some of the other things on the menu (and some of their specialty cocktails.) I dont go bowling much, but from what my group was saying their bowling prices are very competitive. Half the lanes have couches to sit on and the other half have tables (we chose the tables so we could fit more people.) They put up bumpers and got out the ramp for our friends who brought kids. Even if youre not much of a bowler, its a great place to hang out. We had a lot of fun and they took really good care of us.

On 4/14/14 we took our son to celebrate his birthday here. We planned on eating while we bowled b/c he loves pizza (and that is on their menu). My husband went to order it and the guy (who also ran the counter when we paid for our bowling) informed him they were out of pizza crust (are you kidding me!) so my husband voiced his surprise and said something like "how could you be out of pizza crust?!" and the guy rudely responded "Well if I had known you were coming I would have made sure we had pizza crust!"....are you serious! My husband was furious....he expected something like "Im sorry we are out of crust...." If we had not already paid for bowling and didnt want to ruin my sons night we would have just left at that point. We had family there as well and we all wanted to leave, but we bowled and went to Bilbos instead. I just wanted you to know why I would never recommend this place to anyone! That guy was so rude and obviously didnt care at all about service! We have been there in the past and it was wonderful...something has changed and not for the good.

Old lanes and old shoes. Pinz is a great place to go to enjoy a few drinks and bowl a few frames. The bar is fast and has good specials. Food is typical bowling alley food; pizza, fries, etc. Not good; not bad. Just food. Overall I had a fun time, but there were some drawbacks. The bathrooms smelled horrible. They either dont clean it or dont clean it often as it just smelled rancid. I had to get a new pair of shoes because the sole was broken in the first pair and caused me to fall within the first 4 frames before noticing it. Lastly, the lanes are old. If you are a serious bowler looking for a good place to bowl regularly; avoid Pinz. You can see the lanes are uneven from being worn down over a long time in service. Again Pinz has a good energy and great bar service. This makes Pinz a great place for friends to get together to bowl a few frames, but avoid if you are looking to better your game because the lanes wont do you any favors.

I dont like this place. The staff are very unpleasant and poorly trained. About the bathrooms, they are wretchedly neglected and unclean! The hand dryers are outdated and nonfunctional! There was pee and poop on the floor and boogers on the stall walls! Yuck! The computers and TVs by the bowling lanes must have been 15 years out of date. The pins that I knocked down were not calculated in the system, so the TV above my alley was inaccurate. I had to bother several staff members about the technical problems with the lanes I bowled in, and they handled the situations very poorly and slowly. They shrugged and mumbled. When I asked a question about the wi-fi, one of the weird staff members mumbled, "Wi-fi is not for customers to use. It is charged through the companys credit card account." That made no sense at all. Basically, if you want a positive bowling experience, do not go to Pinz. It is AWFUL!

Customer service was horrible and they were completely unprofessional. The management would not allow us to have bumpers up because we were not children, then insulted us to our face for asking. When we had gotten an associate at the front end to help, a manager finally came and gave us a reason why we could not have them, even though we had a friend with us that had an injury. The atmosphere was crumby, the manager was in sweatpants and a dirty T-shirt, and in general was just rude. We did not feel welcome at all and will not be going back. I would suggest anywhere else, even outside instead of going to Pinz. I do want to mention the only good point of the trip was the front end associate was very understanding and polite. I honestly feel bad for him having to deal with such poor management.

Super unprofessional! Three friends and I were looking to have some fun and a good time! My boyfriend injured his hand and couldnt bowl all that well. One of my friends went to ask the manager (the older lady) to see if we could have the bumper so my boyfriend could have fun, but not only was she rude she called us children and went to go talk to her fellow co-workers behind our back. Ive worked in customers service for over 4 years and not once have I ever gave nor received such bad childish customer service!

I bowl on a league here but they seem to care more about the college crowd. They are more worried about adding an arcade & pool tables then they are about maintaining the lanes. They updated the bathrooms a few years back, but they are still disgusting. They are not properly cleaned. They need to update the lanes & scorers if they truly care about the bowlers here. If you bring up issues to them, they always say they are sorry but the problems still continue.

My brother n law and my sister took me and my two best friends there for my birthday. It was alot of fun. Even though im not that good at bowling. However when it was my turn to bowl I tripped on the floor (it was like a step) and I couldnt see it in the dark. And I fell embarrassing myself on my birthday, and got an i guess floor burn on my knee cap. That hurt! If they wouldnt have that step there I would love this place.
