I wish I had read these reviews before going to this bar. I recently purchased a living social deal for a few friends and me. When we got there we had no issues redeeming it and everything went great. We were given a lane and went on our way and were told we would have a waitress for our lane. After a few minutes we had no one show up to our lane for service but the lane next to us had a waitress helping them. I went to the host and asked for some service and was told someone would be right over. After a few more minutes and watching the lane next to us get service we decided to go across the street to sully’s and get a drinks for all of us. We came back with no issues and girls said no service yet. A little will longer the girls left to get drinks and came back. At this point I went over to the check in area for bowling and where you get your shoes. I had asked how long we have left on our 2 hours of bowling and was instructed we had 1 hour and 33 minutes left. YEP you guessed it still no service after 27 minutes of occupying the lane and 2 trips to the bar across the street. So at this point I decided to get a manger to discuss it with him to simply get service. Part of the living social deal was to get a large pizza. I purposely didn’t eat dinner because I knew we would have the pizza to share. After speaking with the manager and telling him we had been here for a few about 30 minutes or so with no service and wanted to order some drinks and pizza said someone would be right over. 6-7 + minutes no luck. BACK TO SULLY’S WE WENT! When we got back the waitress had shown up. GUESS WHAT? It was the waitress that was serving the lane right next to us. So we went ahead and ordered the pizza and asked her to check back in a little bit because we were good on drinks. Several minutes had gone by and we were all empty on drinks and I went back and spoke with the manager and explained we wanted drinks because we were tired of going back and forth to Sully’s. After we got our less than stellar pizza we finished up our bowling and still got the continued horrible service. I thought this was going to be a fun night of bowling at an upscale (32 per hour lane rental) bowling ally. But we were way wrong. I didn’t ask for anything other than good service and unfortunately didn’t get it. Last thing on this long review, it was a Saturday night so college football. They pretty much refused to change the channel on the large screen on our lane that the was being repeated 2 screens over and 3 different lanes asked for the tv to be changed.

I couldnt agree more with the other negative reviews. I was in town with 3 of my friends and we stopped here for dinner. First, the place was dead, yet we were still charged a $5 cover. Once we were sat, it took nearly 15 minutes for a waiter to come get our drink order. One of the drinks we ordered was wrong. The food took forever to come and wasnt even delivered by our waiter. He never came back to check on us whatsoever. One of the girls in my group didnt even receive the correct meal and sat there waiting for SOMEONE, ANYONE to come by. By the time he finally came back, the rest of us had all finished our meals and had been empty on drinks for quite a while. We then waited another 20 minutes for them to bring our friend her correct order. When the bills came, they hadnt even made any attempt to rectify my friends inconvenience. The waiter kept making excuses. This place has the worst customer service and I would never go here again!!!!

Really had a terrible experience here last Friday, 9/25. I was in town with a bachelor party. Our first mistake seems to have been coming here when there was a concert, with little interest in the concert. Our designated driver was the bachelors 20 year old cousin, fully aware that he was unable to enter the bars. I paid the cover charge for myself and three others to enter the bar. Not 5 minutes inside, I return from the restroom to find that one of the folks I had paid in, a sober 22 year old, had been kicked out without a refund; the bouncer cited that he had to stay with our DD or theyd both be kicked out of 4th Street Live in general. Bad business in general. Will not be returning, concert or not.

Wow where do I start. The host was horrible and had an attitude. She finally seated us which was in the back of the restaurant. After being seated we realize after 8 minutes no one has come to our table to take our order for drinks. So we had to leave the table to find a waiter!!! Waiter finally comes to take our orders. Food come out and Im the only one with NO FOOD!!!! Another person did not receive the fries they order. Now Im pissed off the place is a disgrace and needs to be shut down!!! I cant belive the customer service at this place. Once my food came out I let the waiter know I will not pay for the food due to poor service. I would recommend this site resultant to my worst enemy!!!!

Hostess had a bad attitude didnt even speak to us we had to ask her for a table. We said we didnt want outside she looked around her said " well theres nothing in here" and being nice we decided to try outside. She walked passed us without saying a word and we followed her barley keeping up with her and she threw the menu on the tables without saying a word and took off. We never saw a server. We waited twenty minutes then went across the street to The Burbob Raw, were we were greatest with a smile and immediate seating inside. Dont waste your time or money and the Sports and Social Club. I wouldnt even give it a one star.

The one positive about this place - they had the basketball game on that I was looking for on Big Ten Network. Other than that we did not like our visit at all. The menu looked exactly how you would negatively stereotype a sports bar. The beer options were extremely lacking if you like anything other than light beer. We ordered boneless wings to get by until we could find somewhere else after the game. We got some thai flavored wings: the wings had an odd texture and the sauce was stringy like Ive never seen before. I will not be going back to this place (but the Tavern on Fourth above this restaurant was great fun).

Might possibly be the poorest managed place in Louisville. Bartenders spend 70% of their time talking to their friends or walking to the kitchen at a snails pace. I just watched one talk to her boyfriend for 12 minutes before she even turned to look at the bar only to find three separate parties waiting for service. Not a manager to be seen anywhere, which probably explains the bad service. In a location that has a plethora of bars this one should be closed just on principle. Dont bother!!!! .... Addendum since this post, I got a look at the area under the bar. Do NOT do this. Im off to my hotel for a shower...
