The lifeguards are not trained properly to deal with adults all they can do is boss around kids. Management does not listen when you have compliant they already have there mind made up before they talk to you. They let someone move our chairs out of the shade even as a lifeguard watched this then wouldnt let the lifeguard speak to what she saw. THEY RUINED WHAT WAS A GREAT 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND AND WISH 0 STARS WAS AN OPTION. Spend the extra cash and go to the dells...Im sorry to see that you were so worried about a bad response from us because you know you your staff were im the wrong you ran back to your office to write a bunch of lies to make you and your park look better. Yes you may have have gave us a refund but that is because you know your staff handles the situation wrong. Your so called aquatic manager told me to take my stuff and leave which i did and he was going to make the other party leave that area also, but instead he went and talked to them, bellieved their lies and shook their hands and then he came over and told me and told me to leave the park so he lied and went against his word. Your park still ruined our holiday was s disrespectful to my gfs handicapped and older mother and you didnt bother to compensate us for any of that or the locker rental gas to get there or even listen to anyone outside of your staff on what really happened. We saw them move our stuff asked the lifegaurrd to do something about it and nothing was done. BOTTOM LINE YOU LIE TO MAKE YOU AND YOUR STAFF LOOK BETTER. When the truth is your staff is poorly trained and you dont know anything that goes on at your park you even said on the phone call I made to you all you do is sit in your office behind a desk all day. I will be in touch with the owners and waterloo BBB on this matter. If you would have taken time to talk to the patrons around the area instead of taking the word of you incompetent staff you would know i never said any profanities . Like I said, this will not end here.

My wife and I spent the day with her family during their family vacation. We tried to find a place about halfway between where they were camping and were we live and this was the place. Lost Island is about a 2 hour drive for me but I have to say it was well worth the drive. I was shocked how short some of the lines were which let us go on each slide multiple times, and there wasnt any that we didnt enjoy. Of course I cant dont know the names of them but the blue and white one with the big funnel. I had never heard audible warnings for a water slide before. My wife and I have both deemed that one as our favorite and it got a lot of yells and laughter out of us. We also really enjoyed the one that we just call the toilet bowl (orange and white). I think I must have gone around it 4-5 times before finally going out the bottom (tube did get stuck at one point and I had to kind of pull myself along). We really enjoyed that you are able to access the lockers without having to pay for it again when you are done to relock your belongings as I have seen in other parks. We are also shocked by the more reasonable prices for food, I normally expect to pay through the nose when at any type of park and these prices werent too much higher than what we would normally pay going out to fast food. Even the items in the gift shop were not badly priced. My father-in-law had forgotten the shirt that he had to help prevent sunburn. He went over to the gift shop expecting to pay $30+ for a shirt and got one for $12. My wife and I are already thinking that next year we need to do a short weekend trip and return.

Nice mid to smaller sized water park. It is much cheaper than similar parks in Missouri and seems fairly new with all the slides, decorative elements, and food in pristine shape. The wave pool had lots of leaves dirt etc in shallow water and needed to be strained manually and is not heated (deep end fine). Staff mostly teens seem clean cut and friendly. Note the closing times on the website do not match the actual closing time we went the website stated 10 pm in June but it closed at 6:30 pm with perfect weather so call for hours. Its nice you dont have to rent wave pool inner tubes like every other water park. Lockers are cheap. Food combo with drink are $8 and not bad. There were a good mix of adult and teen slides. The little kids area was good with fun small kid slides and a cool hanging rope and floating platform bridge to cross but the small kids area was a bit slick in spots if running so dont run (interesting see a couple life guards slip and they didnt make small kids stop running they will have to learn by wiping out which I observed multiple times so do watch your toddler sized kids). You can rent reserved covered spots but only do this if it is crowded as there are plenty of free chairs. Note this is practically next door to the casino so watch for drunk drivers at night. The kids said the pink, purple, yellow, and green slides were awesome!

Went to water park after I set my camper up .first time ever been here. Suppose to meet my older daughter later in the day, so I take my youngest daughter to water park first ride we go on was water coaster. My daughter is almost 8 yrs old we do the ride and its pretty intense and I been doing rides now for 40 plus yes but after ride ends a lady in front of our coaster was injured and they called for a ambulance. As we waited to be let out of our coaster a other coaster in back of us loaded with people did not slow down as it approached the rear of our coaster and rammed us at full speed resulting in a coaster up on my back. My back is pretty sore and went to hospital and had it check out but....1 girl said it was going to be shut down but instead they waited till they carted the lady injured off and resumed the ride.what would have happened if that was my young daughter it could have broke her neck who knows?...why would you resume that ride not knowing for sure?i would not recommend riding that ride since there has been other I jurys associated with this ride. Im not happy as to the way I was treated by staff there and the unprofessional of them it will be the last time I ride any water park rides there...

One incident: As I wish I could give zero Stars. I had watched a Disabled person walk up the stairs and was told to go back down and around but her kids were trying to tell Cole the lifeguard she has a hard time walking up and down he stairs. Cole proceeded to yell at her and her family telling them no matter what to walk around as her children where trying to explain to him that it would be painful or her and she could have walked through the gate. The party seemed pretty upset when clearly they were just asking for her to go through the gate not her children. She walked around anyway but I know afterwards I encountered her and her family they were upset but still were going to try to make the best of there day. Second incident: I was trying to talk to the grill guy about the food as he was grilling and had a terrible attitude problem. So I tried to brush it off but then when I ordered the Burger it was charred. so I just tossed it! Overall my experience with this place WAS NOT PARADISE! what a joke! Me and my Husband and kids left early due to all the poorly staffed students?/maybe Adults? we will no be coming back!
