The people working there dont even know all their admission rules. It says directly on their website half way half pay and they said it was only one day. It didnt say that on their website; the site has that rule under the "Season" section. At least make it clear for season or for one day. Has one pole with 3 or 4 push button sprinkler as showers. No shower booth. Your kids might leave with a bit of sand in their hairs and bath suite. You cant bring your bag of chips in but you can buy their chips/food. Admission is over price. The place is great for the small people however.

Often times music is lame country western. Sand is Huge mess at home and in the car. The pool closes way too early and early in the season. Often they close one side of the pool for swimming lessons giving you less space/privacy to swim. Very Expensive to swim. Food is lame and must often wait 20-30 minutes for a coney dog and limited selection items. Good side Low on chlorine. Valley Fair loads up chlorine which burns eyes, lungs ect. Sand Venture is very lenient on chlorine use which is a good thing.

This is a fun place to bring the kids for a short sometime. The sand is rough on the feet and gets really hot in the Sun. You are not allowed to bring any of your own food or beverages inside, and if you bring them you have to eat or drink them outside the facility. Theres a shallow end for the little kids, but only one slide for them to use while theres multiple slides for larger children.

I love coming here but its sad n stupid to say that this is the last day of the pool this year since shako schools are starting early!!!! Dont get it, valley fair is open all this coming week but the shako pool cant be or even only a few more weekends. My sob hasnt gone here yet and I feel bad. Just been too busy this summer!!

One of the only sand bottom pools I have ever heard of. Its like a day at the beach, minus the fish! Two different level of slides available. Limited shade seating so bring a chair and/or towel. No outside food is allowed but water can be brought in. Lots of fun summer activities for kids.

A great place to bring the kids. This pool has a sandy bottom, which is pretty unique. They do shut down half of the pool for swimming lessons and sometimes for no reason at all. That being said, I find this unacceptable and wont go when they do this. Otherwise its a pretty fun place.

They offer an after 5pm discount, but u can be sure the slides and diving board wont be available and half the pool will be closed off. Once this season business was slow and they were shutting down concessions by 6:30 even before left. Too high priced for quality or service.

Hreat place to take the love ones to just relax and soak in some sunshine and playtime. MKe sure to bring your own sand toys, it was great during the week I imagine business picks up and gets busy during the weekend.

Really cool sand bottom pool. Has a water slide. Right next to a large park with a picnic shelter, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, and Frisbee golf course.

Very cool place to come and swim because of the nice sandy bottom. The outer beach is great too but remember to bring your own seating or blankets!
