good morning Pastor Dave here Im just starting out this morning thanking God in Canada looking at a review of the house of Capri I really appreciate it although I understand lot of the staff doesnt know who I am or what I do um Im a minister first of all I have a best the green vanity Im also for some a message in Christmas vacation and also my BA off on business management so I have sex education and spiritual which is on the occasion also I join isle of Capri. Dear Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo, Saturday night my fiancé, my sister, my brother-in-law, and I all came to play some games and have some drinks at your casino. After about an hour of playing casino games your “power surged” and my fiancés penny slot machine, along with others, shut off. Although I realize these things sometimes happen I am THOROUGHLY disappointed with your customer service while attempting to get our money back. We waited around patiently for at least 30 minutes while your technicians reset the slot machine. After resetting the machine four times the slot machine did not boot up. We were informed that there would be no way to mail the amount and our only option was to call within 30 days and come in to receive my money back. Very frustrated, I gave you my information so we could get on with our night elsewhere. Today I called to speak with a manager. It took three phone calls, seven transfers, and over fifteen minutes to finally get through to a manager. They informed me that they did not see our information in the system. In exchange you offered me $20 in credit for casino games. Although appreciated, I have absolutely no interest in returning to your casino. Your customer service is terrible and your gaming technology is obviously flawed if your systems do not have any sort of battery backup. You have wasted over an hour of my time now with no sense of a resolution to our problem. All this for less than $16 from a penny slot machine.

Went here for my birthday, with a friend on a Sunday. We decided to stay because we figured that we could have drinks, dinner, and hang out without having to leave. This is not the first time Ive stayed here and I have never had any issues prior to this trip. We went down to the pool and hot tub area, but it was so incredibly hot that we could hardly stand to be in there. We decided to go and try some machines and ordered a couple of long islands. We thought they were reasonably priced, so decided to have a few of those. We realized that she was "making" them entirely from the fountain pump. The alcohol in a long island should not be coming out of the same pump gun as the Coke. There had to be little to no alcohol in them whatsoever. Ridiculous! On top of that, the snobby bartenders made it completely apparent that they didnt want to be there. They were rude and unwelcoming. They acted like we were bothering them. The food in the restaurant was sub-par. Typical bar food.. not awful.. not great. I wouldnt pay to eat their again or buy any more drinks. For the amount of money we spent on the hotel, gambling, food and drink, it was undeniably not worth it. Wont be going back.

WORST hotel stay in my life. I stayed in room #904 on Wednesday April 12, 2017. When I woke up the next morning I was covered in red itchy bites all over my entire body. I slept in the bed closest to the window. I called the health department right away. She told me to email them pictures of the bites. I also let the hotel know and they told me they do bed bug maintenance and would check on the room right away (who knows if they did or not). When I got home I washed everything even my makeup bag just to be safe. However it has been 3 days since I stayed there and I still have the red bumps all over even my fingers and they ITCH like crazy. The health department told me it can take up to 5 days before they do their investigation. They will be contacting me with what they find. I will NEVER EVER again stay at the Isle Casino Hotel in Waterloo. Good luck to you if you do stay there. If I could post a picture of my bites on here I would. I only gave it a star because it made me but really it gets a -0.

You know sometimes you hear people say...dont go to the casino, youd be better driving by and throwing your money out the window. Well in the Isles case this is absolutely true. The Isle is the epitome of a terrible casino. Absolutely terrible payback. A large majority of workers are amazing people, but the management is literally setting them up for failure with this terrible payback. This payback is causing some disgruntlement among frequent players I know and has created a lack of positivity regarding this casino. This should be very alarming to management. I would rate the casino portion a 1 star, but overall I rate the Isle a 2 star establishment because there hotel and food are decent. The hotel is top notch. Everything that is included with the purpose of this business absolutely sucks. Dont waste your money or even waste your breath here until the payback is raised. I call on management to challenge the status quo.

I have stayed here several times under my name and with groups. This by far has been the worst experience ever. The bedding had an obvious stain that looked like fresh poo. I am hoping that it was something else. Housekeeping person came and looked at it and immediately sent someone in to change it. The room was frigid and didnt warm up until 3 am. The ceiling fan would not turn off for much of the time which made it even colder. Maintenance had to come in and he said the air in the room was 62 degrees. He said it takes hours to warm up and the furnace low setting was not working. He did change the filter while I watched. Not sure what that was supposed to do. It was so cold that my daughter had to stay somewhere else. Now I am getting a sore throat! I wouldve asked for another room, but I heard others complaining as well. They were nice enough to bring me an extra blanket at about 1 am!
