My overall experience at this casino is not a good one. Its very difficult to win at all if any & it would be nice to just have playing time instead of my money being lost very quickly & not being able to enjoy the atmosphere & remodel. Its seems as if u have to wait for service (ie) drinkseverages or waiting on change from a slot attendant these employees seem to stand around & talk more than the actual work they do which is very unprofessional to say the least. Ive also seen floor managers, slot attendants & a assistant casino manager walking in circles with employees who should be doing Thier job. Also the casino is dirty with clean up workers just standing around instead of working & doing Thier jobs of actually cleaning & the supervisors & managers do nothing about it. Its sometimes tough to get change or cash in at the cashier windows as employee"s gather around & talk with the cashiers instead of working. This is very unprofessional....I hope things get better but I doubt it.

I will be boycotting this casino from now on. Beyond horrible payouts. Out of the last 5 or 6 trips down there between several of us nothing paid out was more then what the bet was if that. Get into a bonus good luck barely will win a thing in it. But its funny to walk around and see all the older folks winning but none of the younger crowd. The place has gone way down since the remodel and machines are tighter then ever. I will be taking my money to the competition a few miles south. F this place save your money and go to the competition. Must be why its always so dead in that place. You guys must really want to lose all of your paying customers. Bad strategy just sayin

I love this place!! Its the only real casino in Duluth, the next closest is Black Bear in Cloquet, MN. This is the only place you can gamble in Duluth, MN besides pull tabs at bars, and scratch off tickets at gas stations. They just got a bunch of new slot machines, and now the lower floor is a non-smoking floor, so its easy on the health, but upstairs you can smoke, which is nice for me. :) I really enjoy the atmosphere here, I have always enjoyed going to this casino. They serve free soda and coffee to all the customers. They also count change if you have a bunch of change to turn into bills. Good business, I love it.

This casino must have been recently updated. It was extremely clean and overall very visibly appealing. However, payouts were awful. Only two tables open for blackjack upstairs. The drinks were pricey and the bartender used a "shot" machine - my vodka cranberry had about 1/2 teaspoon of vodka and 3 cups of cranberry juice. Security was kind and made the place feel safe. The smoking area did not feel smokey at all. Overall, I would return, but dont expect to win.

Tight slots, rude security, poor players club promotions, and minimal dining. Its positives are smoke free gaming floor, friendly beverage staff, and many new games to play. Id say they need to bring back the free shuttle service to black bear casino where guests can do serious spending on gaming, lodging, dining, and gift shop. Id have to say that overall this casino amounts to only an attraction, not a destination like it could be.

ha ha very funny. I suppose some people dont know that MN is probably the most Lutheran state in the USA. So in the interest of humor I wont tell google its really Fond-du-Luth as MN has far too many humorless jerks. The casino is kind of a hole in the wall but I have won a few hundred bucks at the blackjack tables. My dad never won a thing at the slots however. They charge an outrageous price for a beer.

The saving grace of this casino is the staff. Everyone was beyond welcoming. Unfortunately, it was pretty dingy and overall worn out. As others said, the smoking floor is upstairs but the smell permeates the first floor, also. If you want to play tables you have to sit in the full on smoking floor. Ive been to a lot of casinos in Iowa, Minnesota, Reno, and Vegas and this one didnt hold up to the others.

Terrible location, and terrible crowd that it attracts. Not that everyone that goes here is terrible - but the smell even from outside is not enjoyable. I think that it detracts from Downtown just by being there. As far as Casinos go, there are better more worthwhile options. On the plus side, I heard that smoking on the first floor is no longer permitted here though.

Great if you like a trashy atmosphere and feeling like you could lose all your money before you gamble. Not to mention the owners are using native American contracts from reservations as legal basis for their dealings here in the city. No longer do they pay the city anything for all the city provided amenities (police, fire, etc)

The smoke inside will make your eyes water the moment you enter. They are promoting that the first floor is no smoking but there is no separation between the first and second floors so it may as well be a smoking area. There are four blackjack tables and the rest are slots. No poker, craps roulette, etc...

Terribly smokey. Extremely poor payouts its fun to come and play on a 100$ for a while and have a good time but to come and try numerous slots and leave 1500 without any decent hits. They must be hurting for business or trying to pay for something. Wont return.

Not to much of a fan. Would rather drive to black bear. At FonDuLuth you have to pay for parking, you dont earn points on your card for playing blackjack. Very smokey. Small claustrophobic blackjack area. NO BINGO. Not very big payouts on machines.

Hey I have fun on the slots win or lose!!! Couple weeks ago I walked out with 1 win $445.00 & another 1 win $675.00; so I guess I do pretty good!!! Its all in good fun when your with someone who likes & enjoys the same things in life as you do.

The really bothersome thing is "Beverages! Is everyone okay on beverages? Would you like a beverage? Beverage anyone?" About every 5 minutes you are annoyed by this coming down every aisle. Makes for a VERY irritating time at this casino.

Doesnt have the glamour of black bear or other casinos in the area. But if you want to play slots or blackjack they have you covered. Easy deep fried bar food nothing special, the bar staff isnt great and service can be slow.
