Ive been going to the isle of capri for several years, and although i dont lose a lot of money there, i always lose all ive got. My mother, who im with any time im there , has lost a lot of money there over the years. I understand that gambling at the penny slots isnt a career choice, but up until recently, my mom, has been treated very well by the isle of capri. With comps, hotel stays, buffets, give aways, and special events. Apparently, something has changed, because the amount of points needed to keep her platinum card has drastically increased, no more comps or hotel stays. No more dinner after losing several hundred dollars in their slot machines. As i was eating dinner at the buffet last night, i attempted to log into the hotel internet, as was my habit while eating dinner, and was asked for a key code. Well, i called the hotel and asked for it, the girl who answered the phone very rudely informed me that i had to be a customer of the hotel to use the internet, and hung up on me. I might add to this, that i no longer recieve any kind of mail anymore, and in all the years ive been going, ive NEVER, one time, won more than a few dollars at one time in one of their slots. Which i accept, because not everybody is lucky, but coupled with all the other stuff, i believe that last night is my final visit to the isle of capri. As was my mothers. I can stay home and be treated bad, and do it a lot cheaper.

The floors were absolutely filthy throughout the entire restaurant and the service was spotty at best. The young man waiting our table was trying to keep up, but with so many dirty tables every where he didnt have a chance. The food wasnt very good and very over priced for the quality. The crab legs were soft with miniscule amounts of meat inside them, which might not have been that bad, except they were charging by the "pound" (which was still with the shell on it) so there was no redemption. The grilled ribeye looked burnt, so I figured I would wait until they put fresh ribeye out to try it. Unfortunately it was bathed in salt, still burnt and chewy, riddled with fat and overall unpleasant. The Macaroni and cheese however, was quite delicious, but not worth the admission fee. The staff was polite and courteous, so Im not sure if the problem lies with management or just an overall lack of care. Regardless, even with the free buffet vouchers the casino rewarded us with (unrelated to the food. Its a promotion the casino was running with every new card issued), I highly doubt we will return until the restaurant ultimately fails and is replaced by something hopefully better.

I really enjoy my stay every time I come to the Isle of Capri! The room was beautiful and spacious and I love the decor. The rooms have spectacular views of the mighty Missouri River the Katy Trail bridge in some of the rooms have a view of the historical train station. The public restroom by the casino was very clean. The buffet was great I had crab legs and they were phenomenal. We went to the Farradays restaurant. It was very elegant and romantic the server was extremely helpful friendly and efficient. All of the staff throughout the casino and hotel are very friendly. The casino has just recently been renovated inside and out and it looks fantastic! My favorite part about the casino the giant goldfish. I really enjoyed feeding the fish everyday several times a day. They have a dispenser so that you can feed them a handful for $0.25 each. There are so many great little shops downtown within walking distance of the casino. Theres also the historic Katy Trail bridge and a beautiful and the mighty Missouri Bridge. I love staying at the Isle Capri in Booneville. Its my favorite place.

Never felt more INSULTED and HUMILIATED from a dinning experience in my life. Was put in a corner isolated from the rest of the guests. The waitress even said...Oh I didnt know that anyone was back here. After a little over 20min of isolation waitress asked..If I would like to speak to someone.. Then Michelle showed up..I asked..Why would you seat someone by themselves isolated from the rest of the guests? She answered...We have new staff on tonight and they are following the rules(blamed someone else)and we were not trying to make you feel punished(to late damage already done) I decided to try the buffet tonight instead of Farraddays which the past two Vista there were a JOKE. This will definitely be the LAST time I ever stop here. Dont waste your time and money, drive to Columbia much better dinning

They definitely realize that they can get away with having the machines too tight, as theyre the only option for people in mid-Missouri to go. I go maybe once a month and spend $40.00, but I pretty much just pay $40.00 for an hours worth of playing the penny machines for entertainment. They only "play" if the place is packed- if its a weeknight, forget about it! Ive sat down at machines and had them suck $20.00 out (betting 20 cents/spin) with nada. I *never* go in expecting to win anything, but it would be nice to have a machine play so I can play for a bit longer! Youd have much better luck just driving to St. Louis or Kansas City and gambling if you want to win, otherwise, youre just dropping your cash into Isle of Capris pocket for being able to look at the sparkly lights and tiki torches.

This was the worst experience at a Casino that my son and I ever had. They gave NOTHING to new members and we even stay in there hotel. And my son is 31 yr.s old and he was Harassed every time we went into the Casino no matter if he just went outside for a smoke and came back in 5min. Later and what I mean by Harassed he was stopped every time to go into the Casino asked for ID. Social Security card and then he was still having to answer questions like it wasnt good enough I mean wtf and this happen like 5 time and we go to all the Casino in the 48state of USA this was the worst Casino we have ever been to DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! There luky we didnt Sue WE WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN......

This is our "go to" casino always, now. Its a bit longer drive for us but very worth it. They are very generous with their free rooms and weve stayed free every time we go. The rooms are clean and beautiful and the beds are so comfortable! Everyone we encounter on the staff is always helpful and nice from the casino workers to the hotel desk and the custodial and room care taking crew. This Sunday is my birthday and of course Im spending it at the Isle in Boonville for two nights! Looking forward to my getaway! We love this casino. Its the perfect size, too. I cant say enough wonderful things about it. Give it a try and it will soon become your favorite too! Im sure of it!

... I came here to the hotel while my sister was in the casino . It was pretty cool I guess . I mean the bedding was shitty . This was something different from what Im use to . I roomed at hotel in St. Louis like Hollywood , lumineree, ameristar .. Classy . The covers were very thin .,, and just wasnt to big at all to me. The reason why I gave it such a high rate is because of the food ! The food is so cheap there and its GOOD ! The drinks are expensive , for a soda it was like 1.75 . For a teeny tiny cup . The burgers are GOODD ! Only reason why I came was because my sister had a free room .. Wouldnt go on my own nor pay for one ... Isnt worth it .
