Pay attention first timers. This review is why you go elsewhere. First off this is not a river boat, as falsely advertised here. The pics are falsely advertised also. I tried this new place out, I am a truck driver, and stop at nationwide casinos on weekends. Its new, lets try it honey. My wife sit down to play, and told me she would like a bloody mary. I walk to the bar and order a bloody Mary for her and a beer for me. Im immediately asked where is the other person? I say over there, playing. The rude and smartass bartender, tells me I have to prove it. Tells me to take the waitress to her and show her. Really? So I get my beer and come back for her bloody mary. The whole time the waitresses are bullshitin by the bar. I go play. 1 time in 6 hours a waitress came by. All the drinks we had, I had to go get, and the same two waitresses were standing there bullshitin every time. The bartender told me we must be in the wrong place at the wrong time. We played the same two machines all 6 hours. Smartass and rude guy. Buffet: awful. Refuse to review gaming details, they are all there for a reason, not to pay you! We spent $700. I highly recommend Jummers in quad cities. Always had great service there. Never policed about drinks. My first and last time parking my truck here. Why? Rude people, awful service and food sucked.

I thought the main entrance was beautiful! We checked in no problems, went to our room......Beautiful!! Went down to the sports bar for a sandwich again beautiful .......loved the TV screens in the center, our waitress was so nice and very welcoming. We then went on to the gaming floor, it is small and If your not a smoker it is even smaller (by half). I tried to stay in the front part away from the smokers but if the machines you like to play are in the back your now sitting next to a smoker. I really prefer a smoking room like Jumers and so does my husband and he is a smoker. I may not go back because of that reason (Smoking) We did eat breakfast in the buffet and it was Very good but a little pricey if you dont have comps. All in all I would give a rating of 4 stars out of 5. If there were no smoking it would get a 5 star. One question I have I told my Son about the sports bar they have a group that looks for places to watch the pay per view fights do you have anything like that?

Initial review right after opening: If there was an option to provide zero stars I would have selected it. Undoubtably the worst hotel staff west of the Mississippi. Rude, condescending, and belittling. I would recommend taking your business to Bettendorf for a far more enjoyable and rewarding experience where you wont be talked down to by the hotel staff. i would like to thank the staff for my first and last experience at Rhythem City. January 2017: The staff appears to be more mature and profession. I did take the opportunity to stay at the hotel and the room are pretty solid. Addionally, the sports bar does offer an OK variety of selections but Id strongly suggest the brisket chili, its excellent. The casino is pretty small and gaming can be somewhat difficult to find an open spot at your game. As mentioned by other patrons, dont attempt to have two drinks in hand unless willing to take a licking with a wooden ruler to the knuckles. I guess rules are rules.

From outside the casino looks inviting but you get inside and staff looks miserable, unhappy. I overheard a server talking about quitting while at a machine, the table staff seemed depressed, and the pit boss was rude. No life to this place...The feeling I took away from my visit was depressing. The machines were very tight, tighter than riverside casino which says a lot. I was hoping we would have a good experience here but walked away feeling I wasted my entire evening, the drive took 1 hour up and another to go home.Best part of this experience was going home. I been gambling for nearly 10 years been to over 30 casinos worked for 2 casinos and would have rate this casino as one of the worst casinos in America.Do not waste your time and money to visit. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars is exterior appearance at night is nice and interior design is beautiful however all life and experiences inside is dreadful. other than that I would rate it a negative 5.

One star...casino doesnt suck....Iowa and Illinois booze/gambling laws suck therefore the casinos hands are tied. A lame time for all. No one wins no one tips. Bar tenders waitresses n dealers are all obviously miserable n spoke of having second jobs. All it is ...is revenue for the state. They arent making squat. Didnt see a single winner all night. The cash boxes are nearly empty. They dont even have a security cart to pick up the money. Its more like a jail meal cart....n I know what that looks like too. Also Im a truck driver. Not upset I couldnt win. Would rather spend a little n have a good time. N I go to casinos EVERYWHERE. Gambling in Iowa and Illinois sucks!!!! Go see for yourself. Only difference from jumers across town in Illinois is u can smoke at this one....cant at jumers. They both are lame. N same employee unhappiness at both.

My fiancé and I came in for a couples massage. The receptionists greeted us in a very friendly and professional manner...she gave us each a tour of the locker rooms and showed us around the spa. Our massages were fabulous...Bailey and Denise were our massage therapist...both did a great job and I would highly recommend them both! The aveda products are also soooo wonderful!! We definitely are coming back, and booked our next appointments! We cant stop talking about how wonderful the whole experience was! If we had to improve one thing is after the massage we enjoyed the amenities (sauna, hot tub, ice room, shower) and just needed some body lotion to put on afterwards and there was none available. Otherwise it literally was perfect! Thank you!!

I was here for a jazz festival which took place in the Events Center. Free parking was ample and convenient. This fairly new hotel is very spacious. The room I had was large and the walk in shower was quite nice. Aveda toiletries were nice. There were plenty of electrical outlets near the beds which is something I really appreciate. I subtracted a star because the service at the Sports Bar restaurant on Friday about 5 pm was quite slow. We gave a drinks order to one server who never returned to our table, so about 15 minutes later another server came by and took our orders again. During our meal another server delivered an unknown drink which I had not asked for. The food once it arrived was good with large portions.

For Ruthies Steakhouse: To start, we waited 20 minutes for a drink to be delivered to our table. Our food took a very long time to prepare and they were not extremely busy, there were a few tables open. Manager stood around while our drinks were waiting on the bar top. Finally got our food brought to us by the manager- it was incorrect- she just looked at us after I said "I ordered lamb not steak" and then walked away without saying a word. We waited another 15-20 minutes. My boyfriends steak came back completely rare- my lamb was cooked perfectly however. While he sent his food away, I took a bite of my broccolini and found a massive hair in it. Disgusting. Will not be returning.
