I can hardly believe it is in Ottumwa. As for the events they really do have something for everyone. That sounds like a cliche, but they do try to have something that appeals to many. There might be a gun show and an opera singer appearing in the same week, and then a professional wrestling exhibition the following week and then a circus, a flower show, a craft fair, an off Broadway play or something by the local community Childrens Theater. They also host weddings and trade shows; theres usually something interesting going on there. I will also say that over the past year, " the brightness" of the staff seems to have improved . But Google wont let me change my comment, which had been true at one time.

We rented part of the lobby for a celebration of life lunch and gathering. We arranged for catering from the Bridge View Center and had about 60 people in attendance. The tables and place settings were beautiful and the food was very good. Id recommend this place for a get together or party.

An excellent venue for large and small events! I was very thankful that they offered free WiFi, and I enjoyed the marvelous river view walkway.

Banners are getting a little bit ridiculous in the lobby. They are huge, a bit overwhelming and poorly hung and poorly designed.

Nice venue, good kitchen, and friendly staff. I prefer the Sondheim events comparatively.
