The most powerful museum in Indianapolis (which is really saying something since we have the Indy 500 museum, the best Childrens museum, etc.). My students and I found the museum to be quite impressive and an excellent way to encourage young people to pursue STEM careers. One student commented, "It was very interesting to learn about the history behind Allison and Rolls-Royce and how they affected Indianapolis and Indiana as a whole. I now understand gears more than I ever did before. It’s crazy how a little piece of metal can take so much beating and costs soo much money!"

The Rolls-Royce Allison Heritage Trust Musem is now moved to 450 South Meridian St, Wonderful new exhibition Hall! Electronic Displays tell a lot about the engines and airplanes on display. And it is right downtown! Parking is across the street (pay) but the Exhibition is still free! Tuesday - Friday 10-3 except for holidays.
