I have played here multiple times. Looks like the course is managed by a greens keeper with no formal training. Greens should be in perfect condition however it looks like the greens have been ignored for months. I asked around to find out the greens keepers name. His name is Benny...this guy must be the worst greens keeper in all of Georgia. I wanted to meet the guy and ask how he does what he does and manage to keep his job. I went down to his shop and was introduced to him by a ranger. This Benny guy was your typical slack jawed hill billy beauty school dropout. The guy was barely awake as i spoke to him. Anyways i managed to pry out of him that he has no actual training!!! No wonder the greens look so bad!

Really nice course, excellent staff - friendly and helpful from Pro Shop to Club House Grill. Visited the driving range...wish we had a facility like it at home. Course Starter was accommodating, really wanted us to enjoy our round. Played 18 of the 27 holes - The Village and The Mill. Both courses are in excellent condition and though challenging are still playable for average golfers. Large, well tended tee boxes, some of the nicest ladys tees I have ever played from. Fairways in great condition and greens were exceptional. When visiting in the area we will play Chicopee Woods again.

Chicopee Woods has three nine-hole courses, all of which are interesting and challenging. Every time Ive played there the fairways, greens and bunkers have been in very good/excellent condition. Staff are friendly and efficient. Good snack bar, too. There are not a lot of water hazards here - the biggest problem is the woods that usually line both sides of the fairway. There are not an excess of bunkers, either, except on that one short par 4. Open to public. Reasonable green fees.

We made a tee time over the phone stating we would have 2 golfers and 2 ride along. Then we show up and the tell us its an extra 17$ for each ride along!!! We have been golfing their for several years now,we even went on fathers day and their was no fee. They said it was a new thing,you would think they would of told us over the phone or they were just bullshitting us. We drove an hour to get there!! We are so disappointed and thats just bad business. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!

Dont know how anyone cannot like this place! Have played here multiple times over the years most recently August 4 2016. Course, as always, is in immaculate condition. Driving range and practice area is superb. Staff is friendly and cordial. Price is reasonable. Grill is customer friendly. Keep up the great work Chicopee Woods!! I recommend you to all

Do not play here on a Sunday. There is some kind of money game played by the locals and they treat each putt like its worth a billion dollars. Seriously. They mark, line up, plumb bob two foot putts. Not a Marshall in sight all day. Closing in on a five hour round. Completely unacceptable. Posted this on yelp as well.

played this course the first week of December 2014 in a light rain with cold temps...not ideal weather conditions but I could tell this course was very likely superb in warmer months...very strong layout with big greens, lots of elevation, dog legs, etc. A challenge but fair with multiple tees.

I live about an hour away from the course, but I dont mind taking a drive on the weekend to play a this course. Greens are smooth and give you pure rolls. All 3 sides are fun to play and all challenging. My suggestion is to get a late morning tee time, play your 18 and grab a BBQ off exit 17.

Best public golf course Ive ever played and Ive played a lot. Fairways are perfect and so are the greens. Golf staff are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. Quite a bargain for the reasonable green fees.

Best course around for the money hands down. The greens are well maintained and the fairways are plush. The driving range has its own grill! Plenty of space to chip, putt and sand traps to practice in as well.

Great place to play with 3 nine hole courses and cheap prices. Usually busy but was not the day we played. Snack bar is inexpensive and fast. Course was amazingly in very good shape and is fun to play.
