I am new to golf and have started my journey at Riverside Golf Academy. I have been very impressed with the ALL of the staff so far. Certainly, there are imperfections and this place isnt swimming in money being a municipal facility, but I think youd be hard-pressed to find a better value. The driving range is great with heated and covered tees, as well as a nice sized grass tee area. The jumbo sized baskets are the best deal Ive seen around. For lessons, you can get 4 lessons from anywhere between $150 and $200 from some high-quality instructors. Ive completed two lessons with Shawn Marshall already and have made vast improvements on each one. The par 3 course is a great course to practice for beginners, and can be fun for any recreational golfer. The course is far from in pristine condition, but you cant beat $5 for a round before noon, and $8 or $9 after noon on a weekday. **The poor review below shouldve been made for the Riverside Golf course, not the Academy.

What a deal! $5 gets you 9-hole green fees on a weekday before noon. As another user indicated, the course isnt pristine and it is only a par - 3 course but what a great place to work on your short game. Another plus - The friendliness of this staff rivals just about any other pro-shop. They were genuinely happy we were there to play the course and practice on the range!

I loved Riverside. I worked here, too! They have a giant indoor putting green, the driving range has a bunch of hitting bays, both inside and out, and the outdoor putting green is awesome. Just a great place to work on yoru game. They have simulators, too. So much fun!

Large practice facilities, and a 9 hole par 3 course in close proximity to downtown make it an easy destination. Par 3 course has seen better days but its surprisingly scenic, difficult, and only $8.

Wonderful staff, plenty of indoor bays in addition to the outdoor range spots, and lots of concession options including tall boy domestics...$18 for a 6 pack. Could you ask for more?

Good driving range. Has covered stalls. Great range in the winter as the stalls are heated. Indoor putting green. They also have a Launch Monitor stall inside.

Great golf range. It is an all year range with heated bays and outdoor range. Not to mention lessons with the pros there and the 9 hole par 3 course
