Can I give 4 3/4 Stars? Loved this theatre before the remodeling years and even more now! Only fault is parking, which is an acceptable trade off for being on the Woodstock square near the restaurants, park and shops. (Walk off some of that buttered popcorn!) Always good first-run movies, great prices, free refills, friendly staff, lovely historical theatre. Since the multi--year expansions and remodeling, its even better! I love that they uncovered and restored so much of the historical architecture, but I miss the old fashioned front ticket window. ( pretty sure the employees dont miss it in winter though! Brrr!) Love the new seats, technology upgrades and enough bathrooms! Theaters and bathrooms are always CLEAN! No sticky floors here!

This theater is a good place to go for and old fashioned theater feeling. The ownership is dedicated to a good cinematic experience and they offer good service. The location can be hard to find parking in front but there is parking in lots behind the theater. They also offer discounted tickets all day Tuesday. Not the most modern theater with all amenities but the place is kept clean and does not often feel crowded. There are NO sticky floors or dirty bathrooms.

I remember going to the Woodstock Theatre in high school, giving them a dollar for a movie and getting change back. Granted, I only got a penny and the movies were second runs, but it was still fun. Today, it simply cannot be beat for the price. The seats are comfy, popcorn is fresh and the kids were given extra popcorn when we were leaving. The only issue we had was the construction to the building...which is probably finished now.

Caught a matinee on a Sunday afternoon for 6 bucks and was very impressed with the theater! Havent been here for years and theyve remodeled. Screens are large, projectors are digital and bright, seats are comfortable (not assigned), and you can purchase concessions right along with your ticket. It was staffed very well and they were attentive and happy! Great experience

We love this theater but this is the second movie we have seen in the last four to six months in Theater #1 and the sound quality is terrible. You cannot hear the dialogue at all. Their excuse is theyre waiting for sound panels but I highly recommend going somewhere else if you want to hear your movie rather than suffer through Theater 1 acoustics. Absolutely horrible.

This theater is the best. Popcorn is fresh movies are cheap, free refills on ALL sizes, how do you beat that? Oh and Tuesdays are 5 bucks. I can drive from Rockford get 2 tickets a popcorn and a soda and spend the same if not less including gas and be in a nicer theater than the AMCs we have here. Worth it every time.

My family and I have being going here for years. At first I was a little disappointed with the construction because I really loved the feel of buying youre ticket outside with the bright lights and just the classic theme of it all. I do miss that but the renovations are amazing and the kids really love going.

Well-the seating was nice and new the carpeting was nice and clean the only problem I had is its August and the theater was hot and the movie was way too loud I have trouble hearing in it was way too loud for me I even plug might year as part of the way I would go back but I dont prefer this theater

Love $5 Tuesdays! We go every week! Love all of the renovations; comfortable and spacious throughout! But still has the home town atmosphere of the original theater, especially with landmarks posted in the entry hall. Awesome theater for sure!

Wow! The Woodstock Theatre recently renovated their space and it is great! Its not as comfortable as the new AMC Lake in the Hills or Regal Crystal Lake theatres, but its cheaper and ALMOST as comfortable. Great place to come watch a movie.

Its a shame that the movie theater looks amazing, but lost my family as a customer due to the attitudes of the staff. The manager is gruff, is hard to talk to, and is condescending. The teenage staff couldnt care less about their jobs.

We have always enjoyed going to the Woodstock location and the new seats are very comfortable also like how the they have the fountain areas out front away from the counter for refills you miss less of the movie for refills on pop.

Very nice local cinema! Ticket prices are reasonable, so are the concessions. Very friendly staff. Very clean interior. Good movie selection as well. So nice to have this cinema close to home!

Love the theater, the employees are customer oriented and very polite. Tonight we saw Dunkirk, the sound was too loud and the bass was too high, making it difficult to understand some parts.

Best movie theatre in the area. FREE refills on popcorn and drinks. Admission is cheap and its very clean and comfortable inside. I recommend getting the free rewards card too!

Very nice place with comfortable seats and great service. My daughter ended up being too scared of a move 15 mins into it and we got a full refund for her and me and my wife.

Nice atmosphere, nice acoustics and comfortable seating. If you go during Groundhog day, you will get to see the movie for free. The staff was also nice and helpful.

Its been my favorite theater since I was a kid. Reasonable prices as well. They revamped everything inside yet it still has the Classic Cinemas charm.

The update was much needed but this is still not a AMC or like one of the bigger theaters. All in all this is a great theater to take the family to.
