Horrible. We went to see "The Witch" and although the projector worked fine for ads and previews, of course it broke down when the movie was about to start. We were comped for tickets to go back, which we did a week later and, even though the movie was moved to a different theatre, believe it or not THE SAME THING HAPPENED! And no, the Devil had nothing to do with it! I think hed be annoyed to be associated with the place! This happened when we went to see another movie; it worked out on the second try. Thats not what I pay money for! The popcorn and drinks are so high-priced that, taken together with the price of the tickets, we could have gone out for steak dinners! Im sure there are adults around, but I rarely see any; the place is run by a bunch of kids. Underage kids come and go from the different theatres, and they laugh, chatter and run around in adult features, ruining it for everyone. In a couple of theatres the lights never dim down enough to see the screens; try that with a 3D feature! In some theatres the screen is so dull, and the brightness apparently not set on the projector that the experience is what I imagine old silent film houses to have been. And finally, the DOORS! The doors to each theatre are propped open even after the movie starts, so you end up with a cacophony of nothing but noise while youre trying to watch something dramatic or spooky: kids screaming about Icees and cell phones in the hall are not meant to be part of the soundtrack! Now whenever I go, I personally shut the damn door myself! So why do we go? Well, other than Movie Tavern, which is pricey, its the only local theatre. Wed have to drive to Slidell, Hammond, or Metairie for what we should be able to see conveniently nearby! This place needs a serious overhaul, and a rethink that puts customer satisfaction first! Or it needs real, affordable competition - like AMC - to open in its backyard!

Close to my house, easy to get to and there are stores I shop at in the same outdoor mall on both sides of I-12. The elevation of the seating is great. Theyre set up so you never have a blocked view of the screen. The seats are comfortable and the lifting armrest is unnecessary but there if you need it non the less. The cup holders are great and hold a lot of what you dont want to keep in your pockets as your seated watching the movie comfortably, obviously your beverage, keys, phone, etc. The staff is always very accommodating and friendly. Ive never had any issues while viewing a movie there with friends or family due to staff or other patrons. They keep the theatre as clean as possible (spoiler alert, Ive just stepped up on a soapbox for a rant about doing unto others) considering some people either do not know there are trash receptacles everywhere, dont care if they litter , or just expect it as part of the experience and or cost of the movie. Littering is never viewed as an "all inclusive luxury" in my book and why make someones job that much harder to do? Also there are napkins provided by the concessions counter for use in the theater to wipe your hands off. Why make the owner lose more profit by having to replace the seats more than is necessary because youd rather wipe your butter soaked hands on the seats than use the napkins provided for you? Thats just DISGUSTING and very unsanitary. Keep track of your trash, pick up after yourself then throw it away when exiting and wash your hands in the restrooms. Your children will respect you more than you know and be as conscientious as youve taught them to be by your example. That 1% makes all the difference between conviviality and chaos!

This theater is quality. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help. One time, while I was watching Cloverfield Lane, the power went out just as a scary preview was playing. It freaked us all out, but management was able to calm all of us down and they were able to restore the power. The only thing I was upset about was that they restarted the previews and I had to watch the stupid scary movie trailer AGAIN... and got scared AGAIN. Nevertheless, I still continue to see movies regularly at this theater. The best time to go see a movie is really late at night so that they will have everything well stocked in concessions, including hot dogs (to die for). The buns are always so delectably soft and fresh and warm. I love the way the hot dogs are slow roasted on the grill all day long. I also really dig the popcorn, especially since they dont use any butter in it whatsoever. The corn is popped with coconut oil and popcorn salt only.. which makes it extremely healthy for you, especially when you dip the popcorn in the nacho cheese... (ask for a courtesy cup of cheese after the transaction is made to avoid paying for the cheese). Also, the prices are NORMAL for a movie theater. I dont understand how anyone can bash them for prices, since you wont find a theater anywhere that sells anything for under five dollars. Last but not least, their restrooms!! Extremely clean and delightful to be in. I wouldnt recommend any other bathroom... NOT EVEN MY OWN IN MY HOUSE.

I walked in to the theatre ready to see the Conjuring 2 which I have been waiting to see for many months, the first one is my favorite movie. It is R rated which means you have to be 17, which I am about to turn 18 and the ticket scanner would not let me in to the movie because I forgot to bring my i.d. because I have never gotten carded to go in to a movie theatre. I tried to explain this to him and he was being very rude to me. I know this guy and he knows that I am 17 and he still turned us away. He made us leave and I could not get a refund because it has to be 2 hours prior to the movie and I was there at the time the movie started and I had bought 2 tickets so I now wasted my money and did not get to see the movie. This boy who turned us away was very rude and being to be honest quite an ass to me and my friend that were just trying to see a movie we have been trying to see. The kid is 16 or 17 years old himself so he knows who me and my friend are and still would not let us in he is a rude person and should not be allowed to work with people due to his rudeness.

If I could rate this theater negatively I would. We tried to watch a movie and in the middle of it a storm came on and the power went out. This is out of their control, sure, but 15minutes later and the movie finally starts up again. Then the last 15 min of the action movie and the stupid previews and prescreen crap starts playing over the screen. I was mad, but the reason I will NEVER go here again is that the manager and employees made jokes that it was supposed to do that to enhance the movie and they clearly knew it would happen and didnt do anything to prevent it. They can take their free passes and shove them where the sun doesnt shine because I will never ever step foot in that theater again and I will tell everyone , including the regional manager all the way up to regal corporate,in our I meet not to,support this carp called a movie theater. .
