The seats are great, but thats it!! Customer service and cleanliness is terrible. I arrived with my family of 4, 25 minutes early to a movie to find the theater packed with no seats together. I went to customer service and asked to switch to the next show due to no seats. I was told by Paul that there are seats but they are scattered...Nonsense!! Who wants to sit away from their kids in a theater, anything could happen!!!!!!!!! I was then told that i would have to pay an additional cost because the next show was at 4:05 and my tickets were for a 3:35 matinee. Then my daughter poked a hole in the flimsy cups they provide for an icee. I asked for a cup at concession, explaining the dilemma and was told I could only have a small clear plastic complimentary cup even though I paid $5.75 for a drink & cup. Last, the bathroom was filthy and had an awful smell that lingered into the hall. The comfy seats dont make up for crappy service. I wont be renewing my Reel Rewards card!!!!!

Me encanta el cine, sus sillas son excelente, pero hay un problema, me sente en la última línea en la línea H sala 9 para ver mi película cars 3 con mis sobrinos, pero fue de lo peor experiencia ya que al reclinar mi silla la malla de seguridad queda a la mitad de la pantalla y se hace dificl poder verla completa, pondré una foto y espero no sea ilegal ponerla pero espero ayude...

Service sucks. Starters I was asked if I would like to purchase the rewards program and when I said yes I was checked out without it... why ask if your not listing? The fact that you dont offer kids a cup with lid for water then be rude about it is petty. The topper when I called about buying a large amout of tickets and asking for help to plan the event ya know like getting seats that are together I was told they didnt give a group discount and he hung up on me. Um thats not at all what I asked but the service has forced me to take our business elsewhere. From thr way ive been treared you dont need my business so doubt you see it as my loss not yours. Hope your service improves asap.

Love this theater. The lazy boy recliners are the highlight. Cost for drinks and popcorn are no different then any other theater. Best thing to do if you are a movie goer is to subscribe to The Grands reward program (The Reel Rewards) $10 for 12 months. The day I purchased the card (November 24th, 2015) I got a free popcorn and drink so the card pays for itself the day you buy it. You accumulate rewards for every purchase. I also got $5 for my birthday. My total rewards to date is $13 that I can use toward show tix and/or concession whenever I want. The Grand has a forever patron in me. If I can give more than 5 stars I would.

FInally went to see Star Wars. Got to the theater and went into #13 and, low and behold, the seats were those wide lounge chairs that recline all the way. Wow! And the service was awesome. Lost my wallet, guessing it came loose by all my reclining, up and Dow, and they found and kept it for me. Didnt realize it was missing until after we took the dog to the dog park. Ran back to the theater....about an hour later and....wow, they had it...with a smile. I was so relieved. They are the best! Thank you Grand Theater, Kenner....

I thought we were adults but apparently we have to be treated like kids in elementary school. Me and my fiance were cursed out by a group of immature people over seats.Our seats were take so we just moved to another set of seats like adults because we just wanted to enjoy a movie withoutour kids. A group of people were so intent on having a seat. So when the manager showed up the other party continued to curse, yet we were told that we were going to be asked to leave. So we left on our own accord not pleased at all.

This theatre is the product of pure stupidity. Reclining seats (great) Extra leg room ( great) Assigned seats (annoying) hand railing so high that when you recline the railing tales up the bottom part of the screen ( unbelievably one of the worst decisions) I will never come back to this theatre. And this is not the first problem Ive had here. The rude summer staff doesnt make the experience any better. This theatre wont be open past another year if these things arent fixed.

Ever since it was renovated this is the only theater we go to. Love it! I feel like Im home when I recline the seat, bring your blanket, its a must. Employees are very friendly and courteous. I just had the best experience with something very valuable that I though I had lost and I wouldnt get back. Managers are one of the most honest people in there as well as all the staff. Love coming here every week to unwind from my busy life.

LOVE the seats! And the screens are nice and big. Better to buy tickets online because of the reserved seating, it would suck to get there and there be no seats. Food was good, typical theater food lol, Ive never seen a theater with a bar so that was pretty neat! Bathrooms were disgusting though.. and for the 5 people behind the food booth I couldnt understand why there was only 2 lines open?

Only problem I have is that handicapped seating should be for handicapped people and their family. Its just not right that children and adults have to climb up the stairs because of parents who allow their kids to use handicapped seats. Not happy about inconsiderate people and I feel management should enforce it or have reserved seating for handicapped people.

Possibly the nicest theater Ive ever been to. Motorized recliners in the most comfortable of movie theater seats. Ample room when reclined for people to still walk past you without having to move. Bar in lobby with special drinks and alcoholic slushies. The theater itself had amazingly clear picture and great sound, and all at a great price!

Ive been to this theater twice and both times Ive paid for GPX and the movie never correctly. The first time it was it too 20 minutes because it froze and tonight it took 34 minutes to get the movie started. I will not come back no one spoke to us to let us know what was going on. Very poor service all the way around!!!!

Finally a movie theater right by our house! the place itself has great details and always has great movies for everyone in the family. The only problem is that annoying kid that kicks the back of your seat during the whole movie so you cant enjoy it as much. Other than that the place is great.

I dont know what else I could say that hasnt already been said. Reasonable prices, even for 3-D. Clean theaters with awesome motorized, reclining leather seats. I havent personally gotten food or drinks (too expensive for me) but the theaters themselves are amazing. Definitely recommend

BEST MOVIE THEATRE IN THE NEW ORLEANS AREA BY FAR. Comfy reclining seats, wonderful bar and bartenders and just a great atmosphere. Way better than going to nasty Elmwood or Clearview AMC theatres where the floors stay dirty and sticky and you feel like you cant touch anything.
