This is a great 9 hole with very good holes. But unless you are playing on a Wednesday at 2 in the afternoon, do not be in a hurry! The Starter has no concept of golf. We teed off early and caught up to the 4some in front of us in 30 minutes on the 3rd hole! And my 85 year old grandmother was riding while we all walked. Then the ranger "Don" follows you down the middle of the fairway while there are literally 3 groups on the next hole asking us if we have a problem??? Hilarious! I understand old retired people work at golf courses but dont treat your guests poorly when you can not run a course correctly. A nine hole at that! I like this course in terms of the nice holes but have had more than one bad experience here and know others who have too. 9 holes shouldnt take 3 hours!!! Thinking of going here on the weekend??!?!?! DONT!!! Play 18 somewhere else in the same amount of time.

DO NOT GOLF HERE!!! THE STAFF IS RUDE AND CLUELESS!! A STAFF MEMBER IN A CART FOLLOWED US FOR 4 HOLES TELLING US TO HURRY UP. WE SAID WE WOULD HOWEVER HE CONTINUED TO HARASS US BY PARKING 5 YARDS BEHIND THE PERSON SWINGING THE CLUB AND TALKING ON HIS WALK IE TALKIE. VERY STRESSFUL TO SAY THE LEAST. WE WERE NOT EVEN THAT SLOW. WE HAD TO WAIT 2 HOLES FOR THE GROUP AHEAD OF US TO CLEAR THE GREEN. AFTER WE WERE DONE I EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PERSON IN THE CLUB HOUSE AND REQUESTED OUR MONEY BACK. HE TOLD ME TOUGH S#*T THIS IS THE WAY THEY DO THINGS THERE AND DONT COME BACK IF WE DONT WANT TOO.. I PROMISE YOU WE NEVER WILL. ALSO THE GREENS WERE THE WORST I HAVE SEEN AT ANY COURSE THIS SUMMER!!!

As a former caddy at a few country clubs, I have never experienced what I did today. We had a group cell phone in that we were too slow. then, the staff harassed us for 4 holes to "play faster". Oh, I"m sorry.....we each just payed $22 for 9 holes. relax. its a 9-hole course!!!!!! why the hurry? its a leisure activity, everyone should relax. and if you want everyone to move fast, maybe tell your employees to get off the greens and out of the fairways when golfers are ready to hit. will never golf there again. I agree with Kevins post below. really soured me on golfing for a while. would not bring kids for sure. bunch of snobs there.....at least on a sunday morning.

This course makes my top 2 favorite nine hole courses in the chicagoland area. Not only is it very affordable but it is absolutely a beautiful course to golf at. I agree with another reviewer that you cant come out and just expect to golf willy-nilly and take all the time in the world without getting harassed by the ranger. But this is an amazing 9-hole course with amazing prices so they are very busy on a regular basis. I will happily deal with keeping a good pace at the price their charging.

Going to play at River Bend Golf Club, 5900 IL-53, Lisle, IL 60532 is always a good time for all in the group. They do a spectacular job with a 9 hole course in Lisle just minutes from I-88 & I-355 toll roads. There are bicycles, pull behinds & golf carts available for rent on the course. Great pro shop to outfit yourself with River Bend Golf Club golf shirts, windbreakers, bag tags and other items to mark your visit here. Always fun and youll be happy you went!

Nice course but god forbid you try to enjoy a game of golf, we got harassed by the ranger to the point where I asked for a rain check to come another day but they couldnt do that either(were new golfers) because we werent moving fast enough for the ranger and told its not a learning course(really I wish they would have told me that before I paid them the sixty something dollars). Again course lousy staff.

The best 9-Hole course in the area! I play here once a week and the condition is great. The goose problem has been resolved. It is challenging and unique. I love the food as well, the new restaurant is great. The service is wonderful! This is an affordable gem in the western suburbs and I am a HUGE FAN! I would suggest anyone that had a bad experience to give it another shot!

Course was well kept even with the stormy weather over the past few days. I was concerned about the bang for my buck, but this course plays much better than your typical Park District 9-Hole course. Stayed at the bar afterwards and had great service all night from the bartender Lorimar. Besides, you cant beat all you can eat fried shrimp on Saturday nights.

I played here at the end of the season, and was very disappointed with the course. there were geese everywhere,a along with that comes crap everywhere. I never seen anything like this 75% of the time you swung a club a pile was going with it, and could not avoid stepping in it. maybe it was just that time of the year, but I will never play here again.

A challenging 9 hole course in the middle of Lisle IL. It is maintained pretty well and the geese problem at least last year was pretty well contained. Value wise it is a great deal and the restaurant has great food as well.

This golf club has bicycles so you can bike instead of walk. Its really fun and a wonderful workout. Not difficult at all! You can stay in the path or try the little grass hills. It was the best golf time ever to me

No place for just a fun round of golf. You have time limit per hole and will be harassed throughout your play. Many better options for $20 with no ex cop rangers. Avoid if looking for fun .

Strongly agree with the other posts about the staff being unfriendly and rude. Unless you are a regular, they have no interest in accepting your business.
