Money Saving Secrets Blog

Even without skating we still had a full day. The kids loved the Black Light Mini Golf. Neither of the kids have been mini golfing so this was perfect for us! We were able to take our time through the coarse. The kids were a little young for the Laser Tag so we were not able to give that a try but they had a lot of games to keep their attention. We ended our day with a large pizza and soda. It was great after running around all day to not have to go home and make dinner. We had a great day at Rink Side and the kids are begging to go back soon!

How many malls in America still have an arcade? Not many according to my experience. When I was a kid every mall use to have a place where Mom could drop us off with a bag of quarters while she shopped. Yeah Gurnee Mills Mall has an arcade so thats cool. Speaking of cool they also added an ice skating to k next to the arcade. What? If your shopping in the mall you can actually peak into the rink via the windows. Yeah they have everything here. It seems like a fun place to throw a birthday party now if I was only 13 again.

Games over priced. Spent 80 dollars in no time. Half the games dont even work. Need alot of major updating.would be better with less games where u try to pick up the prize with a claw. And prizes bought with tickets are garbage unless you spend a million dollars. Got a ball. Does not even have a plug to close it. Pissed of because i live out of state and can not even tske back. My child is upset he can not use the ball. Looks like it was used. Has black tape marks on it. Never coming back here. Id rather save my money..

We spent a fun half day here. They have a ton of arcade games to play and they have ice skating, which we didnt do. There was a problem with the skee ball game, it froze and one of the workers had to keep switching the points to a different one. The games were a lot of fun but pretty much all of them needed to be cleaned really well and also fixed because they werent running. Well probably go back here if were in the Gurnee area again.

Wow... If this place is still open in a year Ill be surprised. I bought a Groupon and I thank god that I did. Half the games were broken, dirty, run down, and unuseable. The rink is under maintenance (we got a free skating coupon) so we didnt even get to go skate. Laser tag arena is so small and congested that its borderline impossible to play. One extra star for their surprisingly good pizza.

The place is kind of run down. At the time I went, at least 30% to 50% of the arcade machines were completely out of operation or had something hindering its performance. The staff was friendly so that is a plus. The laser tag was meh, and the ice skating rink was fine. If the place was maintained better I would give it a good rating, but until then, I unfortunately have to give it 2.5 stars

Laze Tag, Arcade games, and Skating Rink. You have birthday parties reserved with a game of.mini golf.on the side. And if you become a regular customer you can apply for the membership VIP card or just.play arcade games for the prizes a TILT card that stores your points earned towards that hover board for 127k points.

Nice arcade, have been going with family here for some years. There isnt much new machines being put, however. Lots of them are the same tiring games (I usually play more for prizes than for arcade fun). If anything, arcade should have some new machines to win tickets on.

I went here for a summer camp trip and each person in camp got a swipe card that would only work before lunch. After lunch me and my older brother tried the swipe card and it still worked! Café was fine, arcade was fine, ice arena was I dont know (I never went on it).

Its a great place but it is very very old and many damaged games but other than that it is a great place to spend a day of fun with the kids. My personal favorite is the ice rink very cool and fun to public skate for a low price

The best thing they have going here is the location. If it wasnt connected to the mall, no one would go here except for the ice rink. Its not a clean looking place. If you need something, a person who can help is hard to find.

Rink closed , wish there was more of an investment in the skating facility, no pro-shop ... if you break a stick here, you may have to drive 15 miles to buy another one since there is no sporting goods store there either.

Cheap to skate at. Mostly beginner skaters at open skate filing in from mall. We dont mind skating here. You get what you pay for. Employees always seem as though, they hate their job.

One of the worst places to go to. The arena is filthy, run down, and ran by a bunch of bebes kids. The management team is screwing each other and they all need home training.
