A true community center founded in 2006 providing community development & supportive services that address the needs of low income and vulnerable children & families. This place makes a difference in everyones lives and is an important part of the community. There is a food pantry every Monday from 6 to 8 pm for the Residents of zip codes 60637, 60615, & 60621. Food available includes: Bread, vegetables, meat & other food from the Greater Chicago Food Depositorys food-rescue program. Anyone in Chicago can Volunteer. Check them out on the Meet Up website. Every third Monday join local charity Fight2Feed as they make a hot meal for those picking up food at the the food pantry.
