The only reason I ever go here is because my kids drag me there. Its quite expensive; I dont think Ive ever escaped this place paying less than $250. If youre going there for a birthday party you better reserve a party package or your credit card will get abused for even more. Dont even consider playing Laser Tag or the other attractions without one, as you can easily pay $50+ *per game* if you have a half dozen people playing. The food is similarly overpriced. The pizza is terrible, the crust is like cardboard to the extent that I think it comes from the same factory Amazon uses for shipping boxes. The sauce tastes like straight tomato sauce from a tin can (with the metallic aftertaste to boot). The only half edible portion is the cheese. The water park is oppressively humid, reminding me of walking outdoors in the Deep South on a hot humid summer day. If youre in there more than a couple of minutes youll be covered in sweat, especially if you go in there in street clothes to herd your kids out to eat the cardboard pizza. The Arcade area is straight out of Chuck E Cheese and many of the games require multiple tokens to play, again putting a big dent in your wallet. The only place to sit is hard narrow picnic tables where the seats are fixed in place to the tables, so as the parent herding the children your rear end will be sore by the end of the day, and not just from being bent over financially. Overall Id call this place Parental Purgatory at best, though if you go during the holidays youll be deafened by Christmas music cranked to maximum volume, which quickly pushes this place from the low end of Purgatory to something more resembling a certain mythical location full of fire and men poking you with pitchforks. If you can avoid going Id recommend it. If your kids beg you to go, say no unless youre mad at your spouse and can trap them into taking the kids as punishment while you stay home.

We came here during our stay at their hotel. As someone who works at an entertainment center, there are three things that are important to me at these facilities: service, maintenance, and (of course) how much fun we have. The service and maintenance were lacking quite a bit. A couple of the Go Karts were significantly slower than the others, putting those drivers half a lap behind everyone else. Several of the Laser Tag vests had phaser screens out, and the referee not only had to be asked to explain the point system and the power-up modes to people who hadnt played before, but also wasnt present during the game to enforce rules or help people with negative scores. Most of the arcade games we played ran out of tickets, which is understandable, but one of the three attendants who helped us couldnt even figure out how to get the tickets into the mechanism (I had to tell him how). The employees at the redemption counter were far more interested in talking to each other than interacting with guests, and they were some of the only few who even seemed interested in being there. Despite all this, we did have a ton of fun. The two guys at the Go Karts made that attraction a blast (I wish I had gotten their names). And our group would definitely visit again. We just hope that next time, were given an experience worth 5 stars.

Raptor Reef is fun but not really for kids under 4. Theres a reason there are hardly any young kids there. They cant go in two out of the three areas and the "toddler" area is so scary for little kids. Theres a huge (100 gallons, maybe) bucket that drops every 5 minutes that looks painful and is so loud. My little ones cried every time it fell for the first hour. Plus, everything that sprays all over. None of the 5 kids we brought wanted to go on any of the kids section. Most of the kids playing in there were 8 years + because they can withstand the heavy water dropping on them. Bummer. Toddler area is not really toddler friendly. The only area the little ones wanted to play in was the wave pool during the 15 minutes the waves were off and they werent allowed in. Ridiculous. It was the safest part in the whole place. The slides were lots of fun for the older kids. The blue slide was my favorite. We dont live nearby so we dont plan on coming back. We were given tickets and it was fun but I dont think $23 is worth it. Our gym pools are more fun than this place.

Food here is atrocious. And be leery when you buy a stale 20$ large pizza, because when they make your order wrong the first time, they absolutely will do nothing to take care of you, not even refill your pitcher of soda that sat around getting flat waiting on their incompetence. When you enter the Waterpark it is quite fun for the kids. However, when they are constantly being berated by some lazy life guard who nests on her podium never taking her whistle out of her mouth. Highlight of the trip was the Arcade, because there was the only place I felt customers were honored. While we were down in the arcade, every now and then the fantastic arcade workers would slip my kids extra coins into their machines, just being a genuine sweet hearts. Dont spend 600$ on a stay here like I did, because I came out of it feeling duped.

Maybe its just a matter of needing to be ten years old to really enjoy places like this. While Triple Play has tons of activities and looks like it could be very fun, its also very crowded and not particularly clean. We did the indoor blacklight mini-golf, and felt rushed due to the line of people behind us, while we were trying to teach our kids how to play. Its also much too dark to see anything other than the golf balls and your shoelaces, and so loud I had to yell to be heard by my kids. I came out with a sore throat, feeling like I needed a shower. I think I would have enjoyed the pools and water slides, but there were tons of people in there too. This was on a Saturday though, so probably their busiest time. Maybe we will try again on a weekday at odd hours.

Ive had the opportunity to go here three years in a row, and let me tell you this place has changed a lot! In the beginning, it was sort of small and old-fashioned, but now...AWESOME! Funnest bumper cars Ive ever been on, two-story laser tag that kicks butt, two mini golf courses, and the coolest rope course Ive been on yet. Almost enjoy this place more than the local theme park! My only problem is that some of the people who work here seem a little dead. The two boys out at the go-karts were great, but the man at the laser tag seemed exhausted. That aside, the experience was a blast and I hope to come back soon.

Triple Play has come a long way since I first went there as a kid. After being in California for a little over ten years, we recently moved back and thought it would be fun to take our kids there. Everyone had a great time. While it can get a bit expensive, it doesnt have to be. Our first time there, we spent a lot and did just about everything. Weve been back a few times since for bowling, mini golf, etc. Just one at a time. Im sure the summer will be great as the outdoor area will open up more things to do. This is a really great place for families to have a good time.
