I have never written a critique of any business before, but this one is deserving of my time and effort. I would give this place "0" stars if I could. I took a couple of my friends kids there to play miniature golf a few days ago - it was a completely HORRIBLE experience from start to finish. The place is completely dilapidated and disgusting - I honestly cannot believe the health department has not shut it down. I drove by during the week to check the place out, but the gates were closed with 2 cars in the lot. No signs, posters, or any indication of whether they were closed for the season, open on weekends or just completely closed. Drove by later during the weekend and gates were open and lot was packed, so decided to take the kids there after all. Purchased tickets for golf which included a $2/person deposit for the equipment - refundable when the stuff was turned in at games end. What they dont tell you is that you have to stand back in line to do that. In our case, the line was forever long, so I left the stuff on the counter and took the loss. We were never given cards or pencils to keep score. The club I was given had torn and missing rubber on the bottom which I didnt realize untll we started playing. When I took it back to the ticket office, they said they had no more clubs and gave me the same size club they had given the 6 year old. They also stated I could "wait for someone else to finish playing and take their club". There was no mention of a refund, a free game or anything of the sort. A few minutes later, a man in the group behind us was trying to trade out his club with someone -- they had given him the same torn up club that I was given! The water in the golf area was filthy and scum covered. There were many places that should have had water, but were dried out with trash all along the way. And this is supposed to be a WATER PARK!! The area around the course with the fake animals is completely over-run with weeds. The fake animals look like they havent been hosed off since they were put there. In the parking lot, there is a candy house that looks the same - covered with a thick layer of dirt. Who wants to let kids near that? The carpeted areas of the actual golf "course" were completely worn, torn, and stained- lifting up everywhere causing the ball to catch on it with almost every shot. The holes or "cups" that the balls fell in were filthy - looks like they were covered with a layer of mold. The material which makes up the fake boulders, stone walls, etc is disintegrating and crumbling all over the walkways. The walls and stones have huge hunks of them missing. This place is horrific. Who knows what condition the bathrooms are in - didnt dare go it there. It seriously looks like a place that has been abandoned for 10-15 yrs, and then someone decided to open it for business - as is. I do not understand why that parking lot was packed. That is the very last visit for me-and Im telling everyone I know.

My six year old daughter wasnt tall enough to go on any of the slides. They have kiddie areas, 3 to be exact, and 2 of the 3 have small kiddie slides, but only 1 of the 2 were operating. Dont try to bring in snacks unless youre good at hiding them. They dont allow it and check pretty thoroughly. They are supposed to open at 11, but nothing is really up and operating until 12:30. I have season passes and its disappointing that these problems occur on every visit. We decided to go to their upper deck to eat lunch and they only had 1 waitress working the entire restaurant and bar area. The food was overpriced. I paid $7 for a side salad. I ordered fries and they came out cold. They didnt have real utensils, and I was given a plastic fork packet. I also have a season pass for a locker, and had to wait almost 15min. In the sun for someone to come over there to give me a locker code. Then when I went to get my daughter a snack, none of the snack bars were open! They say I cant bring my snacks, but have nothing for me to buy?? I was upset and had to wait another 15min for someone to radio for them to open the window in the beer garden. The beer garden only takes cash which isnt convenient. You have to stand in line with people who are ordering food. Parking for the park is $10, so I like to get there early and park on the outside of the park and just walk in to save $10. You have to get there right when they open at 11 to get a shady spot with lawn chairs. I believe they allow people to bring in chairs. I just discovered that they charge you a rental fee for a tube..its a water park and all slides should be included! Theres one slide you can only go down if you have a rented tube! The changing rooms were disgusting! Smelled and looked like the worst public bathroom I have ever seen. Make sure you wear your suits under your clothes so you dont have to change. The water is pretty cloudy in the kiddie areas too. Youre looking at a pretty pricey day. I really didnt think it was was worth spending that kind of money when you have little ones that will not be entertained inside. Anytime I have ordered food, it takes forever and comes out cold! Yuk! Next year I wont be buying season passes! Thats for sure!!

It appears that they spend just enough money to keep it open and not up to par. The whole water park is mainly concrete. In the Inland Empire where the temp that day reached 101.....walking from here to there becomes like attempting to walk on lava. Not much shade or trees to help this out. The Lazy river barely moved. The water was filled with debris. The landscaping around said river was filled with weeds at least 1-2 feet tall. The water features were foamed in and degrading from sun and time and falling apart and in general disrepair. The waterfall feature was just an open PVC pipe pumping water out and out in the open for all to see, with algae growing around it. The water fountains for drinking were not working forcing you to buy drinks from them. The bathrooms (mens at least) were completely horrible. Cracked and/or peeling paint. Holes in the stucco. different colored doors on stalls from having to paint from the large amount of graffiti in the bathroom. Even still there were good amounts of graffiti. The floor was dirty and it smelled. The instructions for the waterslide were unclear as to which slides require a tube and which are rider only. So the one you think is a single slide turns out to be tube only and you need to walk back down 2-3 stories to get a tube and then walk back up. they had attendants working the slides (some two slides one attendant) and could not coordinate well enough to get riders down in a timely fashion. Many riders were waiting for particular slides for a very long time. One instance while the single non-tube slide was moving riders through fine, the other slide with tube riders stood there and waited for a long time until the attendant figured out he wasnt getting those riders on. At some point we had to ask him if we ever get to go down the slide. In general one gets the impression that they spend just enough money to keep it open but not enough money to make it a nice experience for the guests. You can see where corner cutting is evident and where care is not taken to do small things to make this place a much better experience for their guests. I will not go back. Some of the regional parks are much better maintained than this place.
