Had a great time! My husband and I are truck drivers and delivered next door to the aquarium. The place we delivered to let us leave our truck there while we walked over to check out this aquarium or we wouldnt have been able to go. Because there isnt any parking big enough for us where the aqaurium is. The place is small but I think $10.00 is worth it. I loved the sting Rays and being able to reach in the water and touch them had me hooked. We been to a few aquariums and you dont get that opportunity. The whole place is cool. And being able to feed the animals for a small fee is pretty cool also. The staff is nice and answered any questions. We wud love to go back again were in the area. Talked to a gentleman working the counter and he told us they will be eventually moving over by the zoo. I hope whoever reads this thats involved with the aquarium that maybe some rv parking would be put in at the new place. We cant park just anywhere and would be nice to be able to stop an check the places out.

If i could rate this place zero stars I would. The staff is very rude. Not very welcoming. The lady working the front desk was very rude. The facility was small. There wasnt much you could do for it being an aquarium. It was cool that you got to touch sting rays and sharks but for the price i would have expected to be able to do a lot more and see more. Very expensive. I spent 20 minutes in that place and I asked for my money back because it was definitely not worth the $20 for two people. I nicely asked for my money back and the front desk lady was very rude and unprofessional about it and claimed that I was there for over an hour, which was not true. Theres no way anybody could spend an hour at that place. It only takes 30 minutes at most to see/touch everything. I will definitely will not be going back to that place. Its a ripoff and very unprofessional.

We went to the Aquarium of Boise about a month ago. Having grown up on the central Oregon Coast and visited the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center many times, I have fairly high expectations of what an aquarium should look like. This was a complete an utter let down. I felt bad for every living creature who has the misfortune of being held in those exhibits. I think pet stores keep better care of their tanks than this "aquarium" does. Not to mention for the size of the facility this was just plain expensive. I think we spent a total of 15 minutes in there and spent $30 for three people. To put things in perspective, Zoo Boise is much larger in size and costs the same.... I wont be going back.

I went there with my mom she said they had a some things that i would be interested in so we got a pass but when we got and went threw they had a very limited in their exhibits and the most common fish i think were clown-fish and they didnt any Sea Anemones in with them, while we were there my mom told me about a hammerhead shark and it turned out it died and it seems like they lost allot of animals so my thought is either they have no clue how to take care of the animals they on exhibit or they dont have any luck in taking care of them either way wouldnt recommend due to the limited amount of sea life.(gonna note this is taking it the fact its small aquarium)

For a small aquarium it was pretty awesome. They had some beautiful fish. They had three tanks that allowed you to feed the fish. Two of the tanks had tropical fish which are beautiful and very gentle when taking food from your hands. The other tank has small sharks and stingrays. They dont hurt at all when you feed them. They are so awesome. They also have a few titles to look at. Which are always cool for the kids. And lastly they had several beautiful birds that you could feed as well. I loved the aquarium. I figured we would be in and out in no time. Nothing to cool but I was proven wrong. I highly recommend going. Great place.

As an owner of 4 parrots, it was disheartening to see the condition of the Red Lorikeets beaks and nails. One Lory was very friendly, so I could see up close how bad their condition was. Im not sure about the other Lories, however. The enclosure, perches, and toys are fine, but if this lack of care goes on the Red Lories will not be able to eat, perch, or preen themselves properly in a few months. I recommend going to Parrots n Stuff, a family owned parrot store that does beak and nail trimming. You have to go to their website to print of a release form beforehand.

Aquarium is small, quite pricey for what it is, but has some nice features. The touch pools were nice and I never knew stingrays were so soft! However, the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. When I approached the desk to ask for stingray food, two staff members were have a personal conversation. They carried on for a bit while I stood there waiting. I finally got a glance from one of them while they continued their conversation. The guy seemed inconvenienced and annoyed by having to grab me some food. Customer service needs some work!

DONT go to the Boise Aquarium!!!! Worst experience today! We have had a season pass to the Idaho Aquarium for two years now, I renewed my yearly pass today. They charged me double what I paid in the years past and said I needed to pay an extra $20 for another child. I explained that I had the same amount of kids a year ago at this same time and that he still isnt over the age where you start paying, but they said that it doesnt matter. Shortly after walking into the aquarium, I asked for a refund

I love the aquarium and I go about once a week and had never received such poor service until yesterday. The front desk manager Tabitha was rude, uninviting, and insensitive. When I told her I felt like she was being rude, she responded with more rude comments. I asked to speak with another manager about the situation she refused, while we stood at the front desk for about 20 minutes. It really ruined my experience. When I call to speak with the actual manager she refuses.

4 of my friends came with our 1.5-2 year olds and we had a great time!!!! The place is small but they pack a ton in there! I thought it was the perfect activity and probably liked it just as much as the kids did! The staff was great and they were out showing us all the cool snakes and reptiles. The ray tank is the best! I also love that they have a few sinks and lots of towels so you can keep your hands clean and dry. Sooooo fun! Thanks!

Fun for kids but take your time bc its not big. I got a Groupon for it, not sure Id pay full price for it. The interactive pools were fun. They have plenty of hand washing stations but no hot water (personal pet peeve of mine) and bath towels to dry off. I totally get not wanting to waste paper towels but seems not very sanitary. But those are my own issues so I still give it 4 stars bc it was a nice way to kill a few hours.
