Im probably going to give OSHA a call! I would actually give this more stars if the customer service and games actually worked. Ive been in customer service basically all my working life but, to continually have smaller kids walking back and forth to a counter to say the machine took my money forget about this one. Not only that Im a home body so if someone can get me outside it better be legit fun, karaoke is by far awesome as hell here loved it! But there are ZERO directions on how to get things started when u walk in that room and youre on a timer? Thanks a lot Round1 worker who checked me out and took my money, that waste of 20 minutes could have been avoided. But last but not the least Im always up for a good drink. Round1 promotes drinks but only sell beer. Heres why Im going to report them to OSHA. First over if youre behind a counter where food is served u better have on a hairnet or something covering all lengths of hair!!! Nobody was wearing hairnets that was dealing with food this day! I sat at the bar to ask what kind of drinks were served here and it took 2 women who were very obviously being messy with a guy at the bar 17 mins exactly to walk over together and ask what can I get you? Im all for perfect customer service so I mind my business until I have the attention and response Im looking for from them. To look down and the barkeep and she has long nails and no gloves on wiping down glasses, plus cleaning dishes, making beers, And to lastly laugh and state they dont sell drinks only beer.....Girl dont even worry about it was the proper response but again I kept it moving minding my own business..... besides that we returned to the counter for arcade about 3 times to revere mistakes of the machines and also when it was time to cash out our tickets the machine never loaded tickets on one of the cards. Guess what with that one problem it took a full hour for them to let us know its nothing they can do about it. The manager was literally avoiding people at all cost and eye contact is was kinda funny but very unprofessional. He literally didnt care to have short conversations with people who had concerns. This was a Wednesday so I can only imagine him on the weekend at peak hours! Back to the ticket store ladies they told us: We just have to talk up next time as if we didnt this time! If you going for karaoke youre gonna love it! Maybe even bowling cause who can go wrong with bowling but, stay away from the food and anything behind that counter in general. Prepare for system arcade failures cause u cant expect things to be perfect at this place half the place isnt working. And most of the machines are already out of order before u even look into playing them anyway.

Establishment was nice and its great to see all the Japanese arcade cabinets. Plenty of room to move around and it was much needed in this area. But the staff was of no help whatsoever ever fixing some of the machines that are not working. If you had a grand opening, why would you not have everything in working condition besides trying to squeeze every dollar out of people. Specifically TEKKEN 7 and Ultra Street Fighter 4. These machines alone will draw so much revenue but when they failed to work, the staff failed to do anything about it stating "not being trained"is not a good enough reason. Help has been offered by way of other round 1 locations that have run into the same issues and errors by way of customers who have been willing to help get things on track and bring MORE money to your establishment. Seeing how little a place so big can care about their customers outside of them cramming more ones onto their cards is very disheartening. Its a very simple fix that anyone can complete but there is a down right refusal to help or get help. A simple phone call and 10 min of your time will do the trick but of course that doesnt matter to the big wigs. Having someone just walk up and walk off saying sorry isnt going to help when people sit there and wait for the game to work. Many of us have not had an arcade experience in over 7 years or so, so it would be nice if they showed a little compassion and willingness to help.

New entertainment venue that just opened at the mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia. A much needed business in this part of town. Pretty much this is an alternative to the popular Dave & Busters francise and will rival Stars & Strikes which isnt too far away. I did a walk through of the establishment but didnt make any purchases or play any games so my review is a limited view point. Overall, it looks nice and has lots of potential. The variety and quality of the games beat both Dave & Busters and Stars & Strikes. However, for a grand opening week there were a handful of machines that werent operational. There is also the presence of way too many photo booths that I suspect wont get much usage -- a poor use of space. The restaurant/bar, pool table area, and bowling alley are inferior to D&B, but on par with Stars & Strikes. The pool table area in particular is very home basement looking in my opinion. The bowling alley is smaller than I expected and not much of a looker. The resturant/bar is bland, has sparse/akward seating, and lacks a much needed theme/decore. For a venue that hosts adults after hours, these areas need some major adjustments. The multiple karaoke rooms look great though. Im not sure how popular karaoke is during this era. It would be a good idea if they added a Wii or Playstation for Just Dance type games to these rooms.

I went today with my family I always have a good time most times . But today I ordered food . My husband forgot to let the lady know it was pepperoni so she gave us cheese so when we told her hey sorry we wanted pepperoni another lady said no you have to take it or pay for another pizza so then they put pepperoni on it . And baked it again and burned it and didnt even cut it right . So then we gave it back with out eating it and asked to speak to the manager because they said thats how the pizza is made with the cheese being brown . So then the manager gave us another pizza . But they were being so rude . I was just left standing there for some minutes wondering what was going on . . Because no one told me what was going on. . We werent even rude we asked politely for another pizza we paid 30.00. and they were just ass butts . Me and my husband work in customer services so we know when theres a issues we dont just dont go off . So hopefully people additude changes .

Round 1 is a national chain much like Dave and Busters and it has bowling, pool, video games (some international), karaoke (not sure about that one), etc. Its a good place that is going through some initial opening problems that it needs to resolve QUICKLY. You CANT run out of food on opening weekend, you CANT have games not working properly on opening weekend, you CANT have service people walking around like they dont know what to do. This place has a lot of potential and can make a lot of money, but right now it needs to get better management and training in its staff or it will get a bad reputation - QUICK. I want to like this place, but they cant handle most events - heck they cant even handle Birthday parties right now (how does this happen... you guys are OPEN FOR BUSINESS) and the level of immaturity of the management is truly astonishing. They need to do better.
