I went to see Batman V Superman on a Friday at 3:50 pm. The theater was closed for cleaning until 3:49. So all of us are trying to enter the theater in a mad rush when the previews are starting. Why wouldnt they postpone for a few minutes? Annoying, but ok...maybe something happened. The movie starts, and everyone has their phones out, talking or using them as flashlights. The whole theater is talking throughout the movie as well. That is not an exaggeration. People keep pulling their phones out to check the time or text and for some reason decide to hold them up in the air like they are trying to show all of us. It was the WORST movie experience of my life. The movie was ruined for me. I tried to complain to the manager during the movie, but they didnt appear to do anything. Then the millisecond after the credits start...BOOM 100% full bright lights. Seriously? No dimmer? Ease me into the lights for Gods sake. Ill never come back here. The theater had nice seats that reclined, a good concession stand and decent (but maybe too quiet) sound. I came here because of the ability to reserve seats. The crowd of people that frequent this theater ruined it for me. Shame.

Only giving five stars so this can be read. I was a customer here since before they renovated and far as I am concerned it was better before. This new place is not kid friendly and the ushers are ghetto and rude and are never around when you need help finding your seats but gladly interrupted our family movie night like hoodlums because someone was late and we were in 3 of the 5 seats they reserved online. They flashed lights in our face put us out of our seats that we grabbed because they were the closet ones to our entrance. No one was there to help us who our seating and no one has ever sat us there. On several occasions someone has been in my seat and to avoid disturbing a whole theater I find another seat. The girl made a big fuss my 6 year old son was removed from the xmen movie crying and the girl asked for a refund when she realized more people would have to be uprooted. She got her refund and do did i . I will never attend this theater again... To unorganized and ghetto for me. I guess I will be going back to the mjr that I started going to when they were renovating

This is one of my favorite movie theaters and last night I came here to see "Girls Trip". Everything was going good until I went into the nasty ladies restroom. There was no tissue in either stall, 2 of the 3 soap dispensers were empty, the floor needed to be swept and the sink wiped down. Naturally after the movie ended a bunch of women flocked to the restroom and because there was no tissue, they were using paper towel. I wasnt about to use paper towel and potentially clog the toilet. So I informed the manager about the restroom. She sent an employee to get tissue from the stockroom but apparently she had to go to Costco to buy it because it took her long enough to come back. Then the employee act like she was guarding the toilet paper like it was hers and taking forever to pass it out. Finally I just went around her and grabbed a roll. My point in telling all of this is that the restroom (especially for the ladies) should have not been that unkept with no tissue. Someone should be on restroom duty at least every hour or 2.

They just remodeled this theater and it looks very nice. Before they had plastic bags on chairs but now they nice red reclining chairs. Instead of the floor being flat, it goes up with stairs. Now they have a bar and a sit down are, which looks very nice. They also have the fountain drink machine with many choices. This place look very nice and will make a lot of money because people will want go here. I love this theater and want to go here every week. I also came back to see someone elses review and saw that they said that the theaters are small. This maybe true for some of them but not all of them. The Riviera has huge theaters for the bigger movies and then smaller theaters for the ones they think will not get many people. Im also writing an article about the riviera on my school newspaper called the Harrison Catalyst and so you can read more about it on that website. My article should be up next week or so.

Do not be fooled by the high rating! Excellent upgrade from the Dipson. During high peak times the garbage is running over so you dont have any place to discard your trash. The Coke freestyle machines are nice, however; they are often out of flavors. The concession staff needs a better flow. You order at one end of the counter and pay at the other end. This creates a bottleneck. The concession area always appears unkept. Lastly, the surround sound needs some help. The volume and bass are lacking. Feels like youre watching television at home. Be prepared when the lights go off. Theres no dimmer. The lights abruptly go off when the movie starts then abruptly come on once the movie ends. This theater is closer to me, but it is not first or second choice. I recommend Emagine. One perk: theres always a Groupon deal, but I believe you get what you pay for.

The theater is a very nice theater. There have been a few times I walked into the theater and was greeted to popcorn in the cup holders. Grease or some wet spot on the head rest. As well as junk all over the floor. However, the majority of times it has been ok. There are two areas where I think need to be vastly approved. 1. The customer service over in the concession area. Along with a little more organization. 2. The other thing is their rewards card. I have had that thing scanned a ton. I finally was told that I was eligible for a free candy. I saved it for my next time. The next time I came they said I didnt have any rewards. Then the next time I came I did. So something is wrong there. With AMC every so much money you get 10 dollars off. So Id like to see that part fixed if they are going to continue to offer it.

The way this theater is set up, is very inconvenient. They make you stand in line with everyone whose buying pop and popcorn, even if all that you want to do, is buy your ticket. Today, I came to see a movie, but the line was so long, because they only had two registers open, that by the time that I got to the register, my movie had already started. I was told that if I didnt want to see that movie, and miss the first part of the movie, that I could wait and see the next showing. I complained that this was a waste of my time, and the manager gave me a pass to come back another day. What good is that going to do for me? I will still have to wait in the concessions line to buy my ticket, because they are too cheap to pay someone to work the box office.
