Very old. AMC must be considering tearing this down, as they have let it fall into total disrepair. The restrooms and some of the common areas are a disaster. We saw a film here because it was one of the only places it was showing. It was not busy, but even the concessions worker was confused by a couple of very simple requests. They lack some of the basic amenities that you expect at an AMC. Positives: Not very busy Digital projection Film selection Negatives: Old and run down Dirty bathrooms and common areas Old theaters with old style seating Lacking many concessions and amenities Layout is bizarre. (e.g 6 restrooms across the front center of theater, express exit hallway by front exit) AMC will need to do a total remodel in order to install high-quality theaters with stadium seating and overhaul restrooms common areas, concessions and overall layout for this theater to compete with any of the others in area.

This is,the worse theatre Ive ever been to in Georgia. To make matters worse, the booth attendent was rude and refused to honor military discount to our immediate family. She stated it only applied to the soldier and not the family. I spoke with the manager who also did not know the policy. He stated the same response : however, felt he would grant the discount anyway. I emailed the corporate office to express my concern and disappointment. I received a call from the corporate office apologizing on behalf of their staff. As a result, I was offered free movie tickets for the inconvenience; however, never received them. Shame on them for not honoring the military families as stated on their,policy. I can just imagine how many military families they have denied.

Theater could use some work... Seats are in need of repair and there is a faint smell of mold in some theaters. We had a problem where we needed a managers assistance, when he showed up instead of solving the issue he started blaming the cashier and us, this solved nothing and we ended up missing part of the movie. Also, we were very dissatisfied with the constant selling of the new "stubs" program... It felt like you almost needed to buy a $12 "rewards" card just so they would leave you alone. We use to love this AMC but the recent downturn in customer service and quality of theaters will keep up with Regal.

I dont often rate things unless I have an exceptionally good or exceptionally bad experience. Tonight was stressful for many reasons, it was just one of those days...but none of the stress came from the theater. I showed up late, they let me switch my tickets for a later show. I came back later having lost one ticket, they let me and my girlfriend in anyway. Got great seats, enjoyed the movie, and was very glad for great and reasonable customer service.

This is by far the WORSE movie theater Ive ever been to. It was dark & gloomy looking. The screen was blurry & the popcorn was ice cold. Omg.. I saw the reviews and still went like a damn dummy. Looks like bed bugs could possibly be in the seats. I didnt even sit back I was so uncomfortable. If it wasnt for my daughter, I would of asked for my money back!!! On God

Even with the larger, more luxurious AMC theater at North Point Mall I always go to the Mansell one. Its never any hassle, not crowded, and the employees are laid back and friendly. Its a simplified experience - just a film and basic snacks - nothing fancy, and thats how I like my movies.

I recently visited this theater to see "Gone Girl". This place is very outdated and in need of lots of updates from the outer appearance to the movie chairs. The chairs are small and the armrest doesnt move. It was very empty when I visited. I would not return to this theater.

Wow! Step back in time. Old, dirty, musty smelling. This theater is in desperate need of remodeling and updating. The silver lining. We saw "The Accountant" and it was one of the best movies I have seen in a number of years. We will avoid seeing a movie here in the future.

I should have read the reviews first. I assumed all theaters in Alpharetta were nice. Boy was I wrong. Overpriced and run down. Needs about a million in upgrades just to get to the 90s. This theater should be demolished and rebuilt from the slab.

Watched mi4 ghost protocol today. So loud I almost left several times! I found stuff in my purse to shove in my ears for the majority of the movie! Studio movie grill on holcomb bridge a million times better. Plus, they serve beer!

Rundown, cold and in need of an upgrade. This is always a last resort theater for when we need to see a hindi movie or if other theaters are sold out. Youre better of driving a little bit down the street to the AMC North Point.

No problems at all with anything. Tough to go back (in time) and experience the old school movie theater... old seats and stale popcorn scent. I would go to see a movie not shown somewhere else and would recommend to others.

Pathetic theatre !!! Went to watch a Hindi movie but the theatre is in a really bad condition... smelly, bad seats.... So if you have an option of going a bit farther to a better theatre i would highly recommend doing that !

you gotta go here the auditoriums have 3-story ceilings, the tech is xtremely advanced + There are soooooooooooooooooo many concessions to choose from ( i also like the twin seats in auditoriums 7 + 14 )

Hey i say its like a dollar theater except for new movies. I like paying less and i dont care that much about the theater. People made it sound awful, i dont think its bad. We saw a matinee for 11$

The worst movie theater I HAVE EVER been to. Worse than a dollar theater. Smells like mold, seats falling apart, the TINIEST screens (media rooms are larger) and screams of 1985.

The seats in this theater are getting old; some of them are crooked, or broken. Also, the sound was a tad bit too loud for my ears. Ticket prices were good though.

Extremely outdated! Seats ate very uncomfortable, theaters are so small. Screens poorly maintained. Needs updates on everything, even bathrooms
