I was referred here from another local fish store as they did not carry the live flora I was looking for. Something Fishy is a newer store, but theyre doing everything they can right. Though my fish guide didnt know much about freshwater (they seem to lean to the marine side), he was friendly, and sought the answers to any questions he couldnt solve on his own. I cannot stress how important that is for a specialty store. Upsells were minimal, and he only suggested a specific product because he thought it might solve a problem I was experiencing. I bought two fish and three plants at a fair price.

Overall genuine small business. Rather I am there to buy a fish or pick up anything for my tanks I can count on him. He knows my family well and we enjoy each visit there... Worth the drive to see the store and whats in stock even with his salt water options!!

Great new store! Theyve gone out of their way to find some unique fish that arent available elsewhere. They also have an ingenious filter system that isolates the tanks and keeps great water quality. Worth a visit!

This is my go to fish place. Very helpful. If your having a problem with your tank theyll help you troubleshoot. Very social. Small business. A lot of unusual freshwater fish. Cool saltwater fish.
