My friend told me about this new wine bar when I was visiting Orlando from LA. We found a nice table for two in the back and a staff member took our order. After our wine was deliver we decided to order food. DONT! The shrimp and crab parmesean was heated and overcooked in a microwave - tough rubbery shrimp and I dont know where the crab was...the gumbo was all broth and also heated in the microwave. Soon we were waiting and waiting for another glass of wine but the waiters were busy pouring their own wine and drinking it as they walked around or on their cell phones. After some time a girl of maybe 15yrs old with a pony tail and soccer shorts on (as if she just came from practice) asked if we needed anything - we ordered a second glass of wine from her - CLASSY. The worst was that there was a table of 5 next to us. They were getting constant attention - sometimes the waiters pulled up seats and sat with them - clearly friends of the owners. Soon a man in a suit sat with them (presumably the owner) - he was very close to our table since the place is very small... and the girl in the soccer shorts came and sat on his lap. Now we have been squished into our table as the chairs werent meant to hold two people. Just SO inappropriate and so NOT a classy place as someone described earlier. It is a family biz who doesnt understand that image is more important that catering to your friends and having your daughter show up in soccer shorts and hang out during happy hour. We were very uncomfortable and finally left. We never saw the same waiter again - they were all paying attention to the table of 5. The heavy blonde woman doing the cooking and serving is very upscale acting for a redneck running a half assed wine joynt in Winter Garden. If you are looking for a place to have wine in an upscale environment - go to Park Ave. There is a great wine tasting bar there. These people are unaware of how to run a business and act like someone they are not - snobs. And THIS is coming from someone in LA who has seen it all.

I visit The Attic Door frequently and theyre pretty good but Ive noticed several flaws in the way they operate their customer service. Each and every time Ive gotten a coffee, the cup is never full. I understand that they only pour so many ounces per cup, but would topping it off kill anyone? Why be so book-smart? Youve got paying customers who could care less how much coffee youre allowed to pour. They want what they pay for. To add, ordering is a bit of a pain. The place is small, cramped, and when its busy, it is almost impossible to work your way past all the people to get to the counter and order. Ive waited over 10 minutes, just standing at the counter, unnoticed. Then when the time comes to order, the counter people make you feel so long-winded and unwelcome. Like its their fault they have a job to do. Ive also had numerous run-ins with their rude counter-women. I try to order my coffee and sit down so I just dont have to speak to anyone they have working there, purely because they make every customer who is new to ordering feel stupid. I cant count the amount of times Ive asked questions about the coffees or teas or wines and they talk to me so stand-offish, as if I am wasting their time. Dont get me wrong, the place is great. The atmosphere is really beautiful and calming...and the beverages are really good, but they should definitely improve on the ordering aspect of everything. PS: Dont bother copy-and-pasting the same customer response message to me. I just dont care that much.

Seems like most of these reviews were from at least a year ago, some from much further back than that. My wife and I have been to The Attic Door twice so far this year. The first time was from a Groupon-type coupon that we received for Christmas 2012 and we immediately fell in love with the place. Downtown Winter Garden is already beautiful, and the outside seating here is to die for. Both times weve gotten a cheese board with wine for appetizer, and they have both been wonderful. The best part about the cheese boards is that they were completely different both times, so theres lots of variety, and the selections of cheeses and sides were superb. This past time I had a burger, which was quite possibly the best burger Ive ever had. Sounds weird coming from a wine bar type place, but it is what it is. The chef even came out and asked us how things were, and let us know the burger was a new recipe that he was trying and wanted to know our thoughts. If youre reading this, keep it up, please! We will be back again and again.

Been here before for drinks after a movie and loved it. Finally getting back and the vibe is the best. Appetizers, delicious wine & amazing dessert! Just one of those really cool places to relax and vibe to some good live music Wed thru Sat. Our server Bella was the best. Very nice and fully explained everything. Even other servers that helped out were nice. Live in Orlando but its always great coming to Winter Garden.

Thankfully we used an online discount that paid for most of the bill. The atmosphere was fun and I was excited when I stepped through the door. The wine was good but pricey. The food was straight from the store. I dont even think they have a chef. Microwave dips- pretzels and chips. We went across the street to have real food.

The most incredible venue in all of Downtown Winter Garden! The cozy atmosphere, with couches, makes it a very personable experience. Live music is always on. All the servers and bartenders are excellent. And they have the best Sunday brunch in Downtown Winter Garden!

The atmosphere seems to be suited best for evening gatherings. Went there for brunch and the food was average but the size plates were small for the price. Drinks were average as well. Would possibly consider visiting for dinner and drinks but not for brunch.

Some guy working here straight up said he had other customers and hung up on my while I called and asked about music....but when I called an hour later, Sonny answered and she was super kind and helpful which totally redeemed this place for me.

Bad service. Had to walk up to counter to get another glass of wine. Did not come to my table. Women behind counter are snobs. Wine is overpriced. Did not even get a Half of glass.
