GREAT LIVE MUSIC VENUE!!! Whether you are in the audience watching the show or on-stage performing, there are few live music venues in the Carolinas better than Capri On Main (The Capri Theatre). My first visit there was to see a friends band perform and I was blown away by the room, the stage, the movie screen backdrop and the affordable beer prices. After that visit I was determined for my own band to perform on that awesome stage. Recently I had the pleasure of performing at the Capri and it was everything I hoped it would be. Beau Hudson takes good care of the bands and does a fantastic job behind the sound board. Owners Clyde and Mary are incrediblly nice and appreciative of the musicians that play there and really make an effort to make everyone feel at home. I look forward to returning to perform at The Capri as well as just watching others perform and relaxing on a sofa with a $2 Bud Light in my hand. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Local Music is alive and well in Gaffney, SC ... and by that I mean from every local music scene in the Carolinas both North and South. With so many music venues to choose from close-by in Charlotte and Greenville, Capri On Main is a standout setting not only for hearing live music but for an evening of warmth and solid entertainment that Im really jealously motivated to keep to myself. My favorite place to be other than home. Ive never met a group of nicer people. They make me, and my family, feel like their family. Not to mention it is a unique and creative venue. They offer amazing artists to the upstate in a relaxed setting. Every show Ive attended I have spoken to the artist personally, and they always talk about when they will be coming back. You know youve found great people when the artists and patrons cant stop talking about the "next time".

Have been to Capri on Main (Capri Theatre) two times now as a comedian/performer. The venue is one of my favorite in the country to do. It is a converted nearly century old movie theater turned music venue. The owners have done amazing things to it making it not only my favorite venue in the Upstate, but in the Charlotte area as well. Each time I visit Capri on Main it has improvements that were not there the last time I visited!

I go here every tuesday for open mic...its a fabulous venue with a killlllller sound system and a bunch of good people. other bars/venues in gaffney cater to the shifty crowd, this one is for the average joe who wants to drink a beer and talk about whats going on in the world of entertainment or local goings on...by far, my favorite place for a beer in Gaffney!

Awesome, awesome place! By far the best live music/entertainment venue this side of the Handlebar! Gaffney is extremely lucky to have such a great place in a small town!
