This place was awful. Ive never seen such horrible customer service in my life. I will admit I lost my cool a little after 3 separate incidents. First we accidentally purchased the wrong package and when I tried to explain that to see if we could somehow use the extra 20$ spent on game tokens, the staff not only couldnt do it but wouldnt explain why. It was a manager and associate. They acted as if I was trying to scam them out of money or something. I didnt want any money back. The way I was treated was embarrassing. Then my son clearly hit the 250 ticket mark on one of the games. Two staff members agreed but a different manager, female this time; said theyre was nothing that could be done about it. But she couldnt come up to us to explain that. Couldnt even make eye contact. Thats ok baby Mommy will make sure you have fun.... Lets go outside and risky do the batting cages... THAT WE PAID FOR in advance. Wait what! We cant get in them. No direction. No staff around. Finally someone comes and tells us we need an ID to use the helmet and bats they provide. So that we dont steal. No one explained this when we paid for . therefore we were unable use it. My poor babys heart was broken. Everything was going wrong. Then same thing at the bungee jumping, no staff FOREVER! We waited so long for all activities. We ended up giving our prepaid card to another family and getting the heck out of there. Next time its my sons special day we will not be going back. Should have stayed local and went to celebration station in Clearwater!!! Lesson learned! Trust me. I never write reviews. Save your money and time. Lots of other fun things to do in the Tampa Bay Area!

Dont bother taking a large group to this establishment, dont complain about the conduct of staff and dont expect to be treated any better than they treat the grounds, buildings, equipment or even the bathrooms. We had a bottom of the barrel experience the manager and his lack of ability to handle a complaint about one of his employees who was more interested in asserting authority over a large group of people than his job. Complaints by one of the women in our group about being harassed on track by another driver were ignored by the employee running the carts. However, the same employee, Demetrius, did manage to single out and tell another member of our group to leave the carts for the night with no prior warning and only frustrated complaints of being loud and not following the rules after the fact. The subsequent complaint to the manager, who refused to give his name, immediately resulted in a snide and sarcastic attitude. The manager was unable to convey a single solution, suggestion or even diversion to the situation at hand and was only able to defend his employee and any of his actions. If management doesnt care, why would the employees?

The min golf course was horrible the holes were made from the caps for PVC pipes and it was also a very boring course. A good portion of the arcade games were not working the first time I went and 2 weeks later were still out of order the next time I came. The smaller Go Karting track was a good deal and was pretty fun considering they give you like 5 or 6 laps around it for one coupon ,but the big track was not a good deal considering you pay 5$ for a ticket and you only get one lap around the track which is the equivalent of 2 laps around the smaller track. The other thing that upset me was the "Ropes Course" that I heard so much about. The ropes course to start is very small and you have to be under 180 pounds and taller then 5 foot to do it. I weighed 183 at the time and the guy would not let me on which just made my day after a crappy mini golf course, arcade and price for attractions not to mention the 40 miles I drove just to get there. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I love Grand Prix Tampa!! There are so many great things for all ages to enjoy! The arcade, mini golf, batting cages, bungees, ropes course and go karts (2 different tracks and speeds to accommodate children and adults) are SO FUN!!! Not to mention the delicious food, drinks and treats to choose from when you need a little break in between activities. Ive hosted and attended birthday parties at Grand Prix and enjoyed myself each and every time. They have packages to choose from to fit every want and need with so much included which makes hosting a birthday party a breeze! Kids LOVE Grand Prix birthday parties and so do the parents! The customer service is also another reason why I love GPT. The employees are so helpful and pleasant to interact and work with. We cant wait to go back, and with their great prices and deals, we get to go back frequently!

This place is horible. Turned what should have been a great Sunday afternoon into the wanting to choke a person type of moment. Busted broken down karts worthless and death traps. Broke down and no saftey for the young riders. As a parent you take not only your health on the line but the children should not ride the karts the atmosphere is not good for young children. The other riders dont pay attention and the staff is young and equipped with worthless karts and no knowledge to put back together karts built before they were born. This place had its great years when I was younger now it needs to close down. Dont waste your money. If you want a card with 4 free rides mines in the trash. Garbage. Worthless. Waste of money, even on the karts best day. Suck it grandprix wait you already suck. Close down already. Tampa slum

Trouble Maker

Ok here we go! I cant talk bad about the entire place but the only thing I did do there was the big race track Go Karts, the Karts were very old and move 10 miles an hour! the staff which was one guy in charge of the cart was very rude and had a stupid face the entire time! then every time you pass the yellow so called cage, he said not to let off the gas or the car would stall but we didnt! and they would stall anyway on that turn each time. the food court with the video games was old dirty stinky and had rude staff at the kitchen counter, the specific part with the big go-kart track is absolutely disgusting if you dont take my word for it go ahead and see for yourself? like I mentioned before I cant speak for the rest of the place good luck I would never go back there.

One of the employee was a complete arse. He wasnt kind at all and when receiving instructions from him he wasnt clear and my family and I followed the instructions that he stated and he was giving us a rude attitude. Like it wasnt our fault his directions werent clear. I was joking around with my aunt about cutting the line because there wasnt anyone there he yelled at us for going through the rails then looked at me with a nasty face and then yelled at another family for doing the same thing. Yet when a worker came and did the same thing he was completely fine. I wouldve rated this place better if he wasnt working there. Completely unprofessional of him and I dont wish to come here with my family ever again. One person can sure ruin the fun for all.
