I played this course as part of a company outing. We had a fun time and the golf course was in decent shape. The course is pretty straightforward without too much trouble to get into. For the most part, it is a fairly short course and lacks character. If you are looking to get 18 holes in and a nice place to have a drink and a little something to eat, this will certainly fit the bill. They also have a locker room with showers. The staff was nice and treated us well. The course ranger did give us some gruff off the first tee as to why we hadnt hit yet. I didnt know the course, went ahead and hit at his prompting, and drove into the people in front of us.

Played this course 8/22/2010 (St Andrews #1 course) It is a fun golf course, nice layout and many interesting holes, with a good mix of hole lengths. The price is reasonable and the staff was friendly. The clubhouse is comfortable, with a very nice bar, and has a historic feel. The driving range has both grass tees and also has mats and lights. The course condition needs improvement. There was quite a bit of ground under repair; the greens were a bit slow and patchy; and the bunkers were a mess. Looks like they dont regularly condition the bunkers. Overall a fun course and enjoyed playing it.

My daughter was married last weekend, and we booked the reception at St. Andrews. I cant say enough about the helpful and cooperative staff. Not only did they provide excellent food for the guests, but they also fielded our many requests promptly and cheerfully. The reception room was beautifully decorated. Many of the guests told us afterward that it was one of the best wedding receptions they had ever attended!

I got married here. It is a beautifully maintained site. We had lunch at the diner to celebrate our anniversary. 1) I get excited whenever I find a place where tater tots are a side. 2) They sprinkle a powdered ranch dressing mix on the tots, and its delicious. Of course, tater tots was not offered on the wedding menu. Maybe it should be...

I love love love the Concerts on the Lawn with Brock and Abrams. Mike and Bobby are so entertaining. The music brings back so many memories and makes new ones. The Food is Terrific and Staff are Fantastic. Sometimes I dont want the night to end. Thank you for creating such a great place for us folks to get together.

I was running a little late for my tee time and the staff was understanding and extremely friendly which is always appreciated. The course itself was in above average condition and is extremely well maintained. I would definitely come back here to play again and utilize their practice area.

They allow golfing year round. I played in February. Conditions werent all that bad. 2 courses to choose from. Always a good time out on the course. The halfway house is conveniently located for multiple passes (Always a plus). Great prices and a large outdoor driving range.

With 36 holes of golf and nice practice facility, St. Andrews is a popular golf destination in West Chicago. The course condition is OK, but the courses are playable for all skill levels. They recently added a covered driving range area for year-round practice.
