Everything there is so unorganized. I wanted to take my family to see a movie one night and called just to make sure of the times and whether or not it was 3d. I was informed that the only 3d showing played earlier in the day. Perfect. Get to the theater and i ask to purchase tickets for the next movie. The employees question me on why i just wont buy tickets for the movie thats already been playing for thirty minutes. Then when they finally try to ring me up for the 7 tickets she tells me its 3d. I called earlier and was told there will be no more 3d showings for the night. So the young lady says oh yeah you have to come back in 1 hour to buy the tickets. When i get back theres still confusion as to why its ringing up 3d (uhm hello the movie is playing in 3d) and tells me i can wait for the next movie. Or come back tomorrow. The 5 dollar tickets are a plus but only when its not jam packed which is usually only during the day.

So I went to see Deadpool the only one in the theater I may add. After the movie when credits started to roll. A boy came in to clean and asked me to leave the theater. I replied back saying the movie isnt over yet the credits are still rolling. He replied that knowone can be present while he was cleaning. So I replied Marvel movies aways has something after credits I was not leaving until the movie was officially over and to go get the Manager. The Manager came saying the same thing but I still stayed until the end. This is why business in the hood FAILS it literally would have took him 2 seconds to clean up one persons mess. Hell it takes longer to rewind the film than it would have to clean up. I would give this a 0 star but 1 is the lowest so thats what they get, plus the concession stand lines move slow:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(

Long over due review went to see Jurassic Park in June 2015 after it had recently changed management and converted to one price of $5. I went mid-day and mostly older married couples trickled in. Well the movie did not start on time, the manager had to make some adjustments and he gave us free a free small popcorn and/or soda refill, so it was not bad. My personal preference is to go in the mornings if your schedule allows during the regular school session. I will continue to have Phoenix on my short list, however AMC Rivertowne which is literally down the road from Marlow Heights, offers reclining seats with the same 1st run movies for $5.39 for the early birds/1st movie showing of the day it is good to have options.

If I could give you all 0 stars I would. My children visited this location today 12/29/16 to see the movie "Sing" with their daycare and they were forced to sit on your filthy ass floors because you decided to sell a billion tickets when you only have 10 seats in the theater. And then had the audacity to not offer a refund at that! I know the admission is $5 but I thought that a seat was included in the charge or atleast that is the case with other establishments. Yall dont have to worry about me or my children EVER visiting your ratchet ass theater ever again!! Ill stop being cheap and pay the extra money for better service and popcorn that isnt stale!

Price for movie tickets are great. The concession stand and customer service is extremely slow. Theres literally only one individual working the stand while 10s of customers are arriving at a time. Slow service (while both managers are present) is a strong downfall for this theater. If it wasnt for the fact that I am a law abiding citizen I would be bringing my own snacks (by the duffle bag load) into this place. If the service doesnt change this place will be shut down again. I arrived to the theater at 4:45pm to catch a 5:20pm movie and still missed 15mins of the film.

All movies are $5! The seats were comfortable. The location is right next to Iverson Mall. I have really enjoyed every experience Ive had at this theatre. Also, theres a few choices if you want to grab a bite to eat (Camerons Seafood, Tropicana Eatery, KFC, Bojangles, and more) Con was that theres only a working bathroom on the first floor when there are two levels. Con is the theatre is small so on weekends it can get a bit crowded. However, Id still recommend this theatre.

Its a movie for $5 ! You cant beat that! I used to go to beltway plaza because they did $5 movies on Tues. I went to go see Detroit around 9pm on a Monday. The movie theater is clean and the staff was prompt. Good experience over all although there was a very loud young lady in my theater yelling and cursing. It happens in other theaters and i found paying 5 bucks kinda made me less mad about it. I wont blame the movie theater for who they attract so Ill be back.

Cant beat the price. Not dirty, but no frills as others have said. Seen a few movies here and will continue, Im able to see a current movie for a reasonable rate. Not happening at too many locales nowadays. My gripe is that the concessions arent the best. I know the ticket price is cheap but maybe more money could be pulled in with better snacks choices. Maybe more money being pulled in is not every businesses goal.

Love this place to take the kids. The service I received was actually excellent. It wasnt crowded, I guess because it was the middle of the day on a Tuesday. However, the popcorn was fresh, the Cherry Coke was nice, cold and strong just like I like it :) and THE TICKETS WERE CRAZY CHEAP!! I havent been to the movies and saw a NEWLY RELEASED movie and spent less than $50 in over a decade. This is my go to place now:)

As a senior citizen the prices are great. Its nice not to have to pay high prices for first run movies. Love the roomy seats and clean restrooms. Just wish they had a larger area for condiments, straws, napkins etc. We get hot dogs and have no space to dress them . I dont like to take them into the dark theater to add my condiments. Only used the elevator one time and the floor was sticky.

I love this place, clean and normal, theatres are huge and perfect, but the cost at $5.00 is so fun. The hotdogs are yummy. Children enjoy the fun shows afterschool, and adults are well-behaved and kind. The customer service is perfect, all you need is your ticket, refreshments and you done, this is so easy. Marlow Heights same as Magic Johnson theatre and cheaper, Go and enjoy.

Unprofessional. Yes the movies are only $5 however there are children running around in the theater during the movie talking, screaming , playing and parents not being attentive to their children . also there are infants in the theater crying and needing their diapers changed its horrible. Cops are constantly being called for people who think it is ok to be rude and disrespectful.

I love the fact that I dont have to pay an arm and a leg to see a movie with my family. I go every week and its normally 8 or 9 of us at a time. I would not go to the movies if I had to pay as much as other movies theaters changed. Its clean and the seats are comfortable. I love it! If the owner or manager keeps selling tickets for only 5 dollars, they will be here forever.
