On Friday, February 26, the girls and I took a homeschool class, Tooth & Eye "Dentification" at the Skeletons: Animals Unveiled Museum in downtown Orlando. The class was fantastic and the museum amazing! We were lead around the first hour by an extraordinary guide, Sarah, who taught us cool facts about the many skeletons housed at this location, the family who owns them all and how the skeletons have come into the collection. We also learned how the meat is removed from a deceased animal by way of human hands then by nature of the flesh-eating beetles. Sarah taught us how to identify an animal by their eye sockets, if theyre a hunter or prey, and to identify by teeth, if theyre carnivor, herbivor or omnivor. We had so much fun learning during this experience and highly recommend it to all. A special note of interest here: This museum is the 2nd of its kind, the first being The Museum of Osteology located in Oklahoma City, OK.

For the time being, I can only review the gift shop here, as we didnt have time to see the actual museum. If the gift shop is any indication, this is probably going to be a cool place to go back and visit. There were all kinds of displays, books, games and other educational items. They had a nice selection of skulls with identification tags. There were also a few very good shark jaw specimens, from only non-threatened species. While they were in very nice condition, they were pretty overpriced. If you know someone that is interested in this kind of place, this is a nice little shop to check out for educational gifts. Im looking forward to a return visit to see the museum.

My girlfriend and I went here while we were on vacation and we loved it! The specimens are put together beautifully, even the really small ones. They are set in lifelike, natural poses depicting the animal at rest or in action. When we exited the museum are, we were talking to the manager who pointed out we missed part of the exhibit. He told us to go back in free of charge to check it out. Definitely worth the price of admission. Oh, and they have no problem with people taking photos!

This place is unexpectedly delightful. The pamphlets you will find make it look like a cheesy kid gimmick, but it is so much more than that. Yes, your children will be completely spellbound, but so will you. This place can be experienced on so many different levels, for the kids there are cutesy movies and flesh eating beetles, and for you there is a ton of science : the more you read the more you learn. You will not regret a visit to this place!

Went to this place for the first time and had a pretty good time. The regular price if tickets is $20 per person which might be a little high for what is actually there. We got tickets through Groupon which has a better deal. They have a lot of skeletons in there and a lot of interesting information as well. May not be great for some kids as they may not want to read everything and rush through it.

We loved this! Such a unique experience to see all of the skeletons and educational. We enjoyed this attraction immensely and would definitely recommend it. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Comfy benches thoughout the exhibits helped my mom, so that was nice. We even got to see beetles cleaning a Skelton which was very interesting. Thanks for an awesome time!

I love this place! I spent about 3 hrs exploring the area and trying to find the answers to all the questions of their scavenger hunt game. Great place to learn and explore about animals and ourselves. Definitely recommend to play the scavenger hunt. The staff were great and extremely knowledgeable. Loved the tour.

I loved this place! I thought it would be much bigger, it does seem small, but we easily spent two hours inside. The exhibits were informative and well mounted. There were so many skeletons! My only issue was there were a few gross, cheaply mounted (some sealed were in resin) specimens for sale in the gift shop.

A decent and unexpected mini-attraction thats an enjoyable way to spend an hour. The price tag could be a little nicer, around $10 for adults and $8 for kids would be more reasonable. Great place to stop if you happen to be in the area or are looking for something to do before heading to the airport.

This is an amazing attraction and fun for everyone of all ages. This is a cool place to visit and it has an educational element. My wife and I and our two young children all enjoyed it. It is located below the Orlando Eye 360 plaza on the right side.

Attraction is managed by genuine owners and the museum is a must-see whether youre a local or visitor. My son and I had a blast today, and David made our experience much more pleasant by engaging us personably and showing his sense of humor.

My hubby and I went.to this museum and were so immensely happy. Bones were properly displayed we got.a.chance to really imagine how large & smell the animals were. Go with an open mind and have a boner of a good time.

Great place for kids and pretty cool things are sold in the store. The only thing I would recommend is lowering the prices a little bit. I believe they are to high for what they offer. But a cool one time experience.

Very interesting place, loved all the different exhibits and getting a good idea to the actual size of some of the creatures on display. Not a large place but still spent over an hour looking at everything.

Most of my expectations regarding this place were met, yet I was hoping for something more exciting, not grotesque, no, more enticing, impressive. It was good and I may visit again, but Im not raring to go.

Awesome if your into bones and learning about various animals and how their locomotion works. Over 100 types of animals and also types of human ancestry skulls and how bones and movement has changed.

Great little museum that my girlfriend and I enjoyed. However its only 4 stars because of the cost of admission and the birthday party that was held in the middle of the walkway through the exhibits.
