I remember staying at a beautiful Sheraton Hotel as a child. I never wanted to pay the money to stay at one on my own. Since I was on business I picked a Sheraton...in fact Im still here as I write this. When I got here my room wasnt ready so I ate breakfast at the hotel...25 dollars later I mad. The food was borderline terrible. You ever think I wish I "had money" well if this is having money it sucks! Then I go check-in, $15 a day parking...which isnt anywhere on the website. Sure it says on-site parking and valet parking but doesnt say $15 a day. I get up to the room and even local calls are 95 cents. When I called for the confirmation number to write this review the phone was cutting out…must be a short somewhere. What hotel charges for local calls anymore? The bathroom is terrible. Its old and you can see all the pipes under the sink. The bathtub is old and in terrible shape. Its scratched up, drain is broken, handicap handle is broken, and the faucet is broken. The tile is terrible, you can tell there was water damage behind it and it was “fixed”. The wall is concave. The TV has no HDMI inputs (which I think is on purpose so you cant watch movies through your computer or cell phone). Sure they have on demand...$15 a movie. The furniture is falling apart even though it looks new. The windows have so much "stuff" in between the two panes it is hard to see through. You have less than 40 channels. On top of that, 5 channels are ESPN, one Sheraton channel, one local welcome channel, several all spanish channels, two airport departure channels. That leaves less than 30 and no HBO. I think I can get more with bunny ears nowadays. The refrigerator is just sitting on the floor in the middle of the room and there is no microwave in the room. The ice bucket is sitting on an end table next to a chair in the "sitting area" of the room. Needless to say this is not what I remember as a child. I would leave early but used Priceline so I cant get a refund...Ive tried. Ive had nicer rooms, better service, and better ammenities at a motel 6. Save money and stay at a nicer hotel somewhere else.

If you want an honest review about this hotel then read read read!! Upon arrival to Miami, we called the hotel and asked for info on the shuttle, they said he was already at the airport and when we saw him, just flag him down. A few minutes after that, the shuttle driver drove right passed us and supposedly didnt see us waving, so we had to find another ride to the hotel. Upon arrival the front desk staff were very friendly, there was a black woman and a young Hispanic girl. We had a speedy check in and they even had a fruit tray sent up to my room because it was my birthday. So thoughtful.. Our room was clean, didnt smell like anything, and we had a nice view of the golf course. My first concern was that, for such a costly rare, there was nothing included in it except the room.. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and parking all cost $15+ I was told to go try breakfast buffet because it was the cheaper route and a better option.. Come to find out the buffet cost $20!! For just little ole me. (Ridiculous).. So anyway, there were no microwaves or fridges in the rooms we were told that we would have to pay $20/night for just a microwave, there are none in any lobby or common area.. Btw this Hispanic young male that works nights; not very knowledgeable about the hotel nor was he friendly :( .. Although it had a nice view there is nothing to do in walking distance not even food places or a gas station. The only thing near the hotel was the train station. HOUSEKEEPING: very bad language barrier! It was hard to ask for creamer, sheets, extra towels and all. We ordered room service the first day and it took for us to place the plates in the hall for them to actually come and pick them up two days later. Every other day, we had to call the front desk and ask for stuff because housekeeping kept skipping our room. And no there was not a do not disturb on the door. I gave this hotel 2 stars based off of my overall stay, staff friendliness, and housekeeping. I would not recommend to a friend
