This is the second time Ive visited the restaurant... based an a friend recommendation for the Churasco. Only to find out that is not an option on the lunch menu. So the first time I ordered the sirloin...it was ok... this time I asked the server what I could have that wasnt churasco for $19. She recommended the carne asada.. very good substitution and came with rice and salad for $16.. Service..6 out of 10.. only because they dont come back that much Food ...8 out of 10 .. Sangria..8.5!! Lunch menu... definitely needs attention.... People in this area go to try a restaurant for lunch so they being their family back for dinner.... Just my opinion....

No se que está pasando que desmejoraron mucho, mi esposa siempre compraba las cantinas allí y nos tocó cambiar porque la comida es muy condimentada en especial las sopas, esto trae mucha grasa y la sazón no sabe a comida colombiana ojala cambiarán para regresar por que es un buen ambiente

This was my first time ever eating Columbian food. I was taken here by a Columbian friend of mine. The staff was extremely helpful in explaining the intricacies of the menu & the food preparation. The food seemed very home-made and authentic! We sat outside & enjoyed the little fountain The location is on Sample Rd. so there was a lot of traffic passing by. The restaurant is small so the music is loud, even outside. Nonetheless, an overall pleasant experience and very reasonable prices!

Ive been reading negative comments ...ummm it seems like we have visited a different restaurant...I have been visiting this restaurant since the beginning, ALWAYS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT..I HAVE SEEN THE BANDEJA PAISA GO FROM $6.95 TO $$$$, WAITING TIME FROM 3 MINUTES TO 30 MINUTES (DEPENDING ON HOW BUSY THEY ARE ) SMILES ALL THE TIME, ownership execellent, food second to none.. 5 stars considering all normal inconveniences!

Literally the best Colombian food in South Florida. The service is fast. The food is delicious and I love the environment inside the restaurant. I enjoy every time I go with my family or friends. They waitresses are very personal so they always remember me and treat me like a friend. I would recommend El Balcon to all my friends, Spanish or American. I cant get enough of there food!!

Terrible service, every time I go they forget part of my order, the servers dont care because it looks like they do group tipping instead of individual. Also the prices are much higher that other Colombian restaurants in the area. Its a shame because they are very close to my house and I have to drive further to get Colombian food.

First of all I must say that when you walk into the restaurant you are greeted with a warm welcome. The staff is very friendly and polite. The food is excellent, my favorite is the Pargo Rojo very tasty and delicious. When you go to this location ask for Anita. She is the best. Thanks for good food in Coral Springs.

Five Stars! I had the grill chicken with mushroom gravy. The food was seasoned nicely and the texture was also a plus. If ever Im in the area again, Ill definitely be stopping in. Ive got one more night in the area and this has by far been the best meal Ive eaten. Mucho Garcias El Balcon de Las Americas!

The food is great and authentic. The portions are huge. Normally I get a small appetizer and a meal to share. The service has been improving. The staff is not that attentive, but are very nice. You just have to call them over sometimea to get some service.

The prices on google are all completely wrong. Their technique is to lure people in and than apologize for the wrong prices! On top of the wrong prices they have an attitude and bad customer service. I would recommend going to another Colombian restaurant.

Great food, very friendly service, optional outdoor seating, and they also offer delivery. The soups are very fresh and taste homemade. Wait staff is very knowledgeable and will explain any questions regarding menu items.

The food was tasting fine, but I got a bad stomach after. The restaurant is just next to sample road, so the view is to a lot of traffic, but indoor you can watch tv from Columbia and saturday there is karaoke.
