Extremely mediocre. We rode by here a few times on our trip.. its on the way to the park/beach. I looked up the reviews and noticed they were pretty bad, but alot of people had less than 10 reviews so maybe they were wrong. On our way home from Niagara Falls, we decided to stop in Erie (& the beach) one more time. After already driving two hours, we needed to refuel before heading off for another 2 hour drive. I decided to stop here.. we were too hungry to look around other spots and the patio seemed cute. Bobby ordered the mussels which came with fries (?) and i ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap which also came with fries. Also, i ordered an unsweetened tea which was basically water.. never had that happen before and sent it back for a Coke. Bobby said his mussels had to came frozen in a bag and i felt the same about my (fried) chicken bacon ranch. Service wasnt any better.. It wasnt bad it just wasnt good, peppy service. We asked what their signature drinks were and instead of explaining them and making us eager to try one, she just flipped over our menu and pointed to the spot where drinks were. Also, after taking our plates we waited forever for the check,. Bobby actually decided to go look for her since we needed to hit the road. Again, mediocre. Id say 2.5 stars--i really dont think 3 stars in appropriate. After driving away, we noticed 5 other spots that looked just as cool as the sandbar. Many other options throughout Erie.. skip over this one unless youre just heading to the bar or to play pool.

Very poor service. The place was nearly empty when we arrived at 700 on a Sunday. Seat yourself and wait...and wait....and wait. We sat on the patio after being handed menus as we came in. We ordered drinks (alcoholic along with water). My Pina colada came without a straw. She walked by and I asked for a straw and our water. 15 minutes later we had to ask another waiter for the straw and water because we hadnt seen our waitress since we ordered. Got them right away from the other waiter. Pina colada had melted by now and i guess i didnt really need the straw. We had ordered an appetizer that came with our meal...about 30 minutes later. She never checked on us except when we asked for our check. Food was ok, Burger was quite pink inside, wings were cooked well, soft pretzel was good. We paid with cash and passed the waitress on the way out. She didnt even acknowledge us. I wanted to take the small tip that we left back. Wont be back and not recommended.

Just went to this place last week and really had a great time. Had some wings with a group of people (tried 4 different flavors) and could only describe them as a wing lovers heaven. Fried to perfection these amazing little morsels were served hot and fresh. Love how the hot wings were exactly how a traditional hot wing should be with a little tangy kick. The lousiana ranch were my favorite. Five star wings for sure. The atmosphere was great. I dont drink beer but they sure did have a lot on tap at least 40 beers or so. The bar tender was friendly and very personable. Loved the vibe from the entertainment kinda like an open Mike night. More than just a meal at sandbar - the atmosphere is just as addictive as the food. A fun place to be for an evening out!

It took two and a half hours for lunch. They only had one server on Saturday of roar on the shore. It took a half hour just to get drinks. My daughter got her diet coke as she was paying her bill. Bartender was a rude eye roller when my wife asked for olives and limes that she didnt give us as ordered for bloody Marys . The cook was delivering food as the poor server was overwhelmed. The patio was filthy with dead plants and junk and Broken table against the walls. Except for rude bartender eye roller, the cook and server did the best they could. This is just poor management they are the ones to blame for our lunch from hell.

Please be careful with your credit card here. The bar service was horrible. Got into an altercation with one of the bartenders over how I wanted my drink made. Payed and left thinking everything was ok. Until I checked my bank statement the next day. Had multiple charge, some without a sign credit card receipt. A a $45.75 charge with a forged signature of a girls name. They tried saying it was my fiance. Well 1 they got the name wrong and 2 she was not at the bar of the time the slip was printed and signed. Please do not go there. If you do use cash...

Ordered a burger for myself and wife, 1 hour later no burgers, I had to go up to bar and ask where the burgers are the girl said she will check, she came back and said someone forgot to place them in there system, well there was her and a guy working lol, we ended up just leaving, they are very unorganized, I understand its bike week but they should understand that too and hire extra help to keep up, we will not be returning here next year.

If I could give a negative star I would ... I ordered 3 draft beers there and out of those 3, 2 of them got served to me in visibly dirty glasses. One had white clumps of I have no clue on the inside of the glass the other got served to me with viable lipstick all over the rim of the glass... ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Even when I tried to show the waitress she just asked where I showed her and she left the beer and walked away.

Seat yourself. Talked to the bartender, she gave us menus and told us to sit wherever. Went outside and watched servers walk past us for 20 minutes and never greeted us. Asked one of them if we could order and she told us our server would be with us. A while later no one had come to us. We left and no one asked why or questioned why we were leaving. Terrible customer service.

Stopped by this place with my pal to have some drinks and was pleasantly surprised at the live music and the abundance of girls willing to give a guy a dance. We had walked here, and were totally blitzed by the nights end. The owner was kind enough to give us a lift back to our place.

30+ beers on tap, beautiful liquor shelf of low to high end, great atmosphere, service is quick, and 2 outdoor patios for the warm season! Theres a game room with skill games, darts, and pool as well.. plus livrusic often! Full food menu and a happy hour special from 5-7!

Sitting in patio area now, watching everyone get served multiple times and we have not even been given menus, now at 20 minutes waiting, got our own drinks but yes not good customer service, maybe cause we dont have biker gear on maybe cause one of us is not white

took an hour from the time we ordered till the time we received our food Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap Got a regular chicken wrap Asked for hot sauce and the waitress " oh" Not a sorry or anything. Bartender seemed to have a stick up her ass the hole time.
