We played the Cypress course yesterday Feb. 17, 2016. The experience left a lot to be desired from the reception to the course itself. Other golf courses we have played in the last month and a half, receive you with a warm greeting and assist in removing clubs from the car. No one in site at this course. The pro shop was more interested in getting your green fee then welcoming you as a first time visitor. Then we had to get our own clubs onto the cart as no one was around even to say which cart to take. The course was in deplorable condition with greens that where either down to sand surfaces and sand traps full of water. One would think that they would adjust the price accordingly and mention these problems at the pro shop, but no one seemed to care. The focus seemed to be getting the green fee and good luck to you and your game. We are average golfers with a 7 and 11 handicaps who now vow that this course will never see us again. Stonegate is the perfect compliment to the Solivita active adult community. The property is nestled within over three thousand pristine conservation area and over 55 homes. The lush greenery, includes 100 year old oak hammocks,waterways and streams. The Oaks is a Ron Garl-designed 18-hole par-72 course encompassing more than 7,000 yards with multiple tees for players of varied levels. The Cypress is an 18-hole par-72 covering over 6,700 yards designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton. The Oaks was awarded by Gold Digest as "the Best Places to Be." My buyers in Solivita like the fact that these 2 incredible courses are available to them if they decide to use them. Enrollment in the golf package is not a requirement to reside in Solivita.

I have to say I am disappointed with my experience. I have been coming here for over 6 years whilst on holiday. Last time we came the Tee times were overbooked and I was told to skip 2 holes as there was 10 people waiting to Tee off the forth. Then during my game I overheard a member of staff speaking to a member, telling her that the reason it was overcrowded was because of outside players and how they shouldnt be allowed to play. Avoid going during November, Im taking my business elsewhere.
