I would not go again. Manager or who ever he was , was the most rudest guy I ever dealt with. We drove across state from crystal river fl. and my cousin drove up from Orlando fl. and met another friend from Deland fl. I was quoted a price and when we arrived it was a $16.00 rise in price. We did need 3 carts, mine and my friends wife are handicapped and they ride with us... I know there is sometimes a fee for a rider but he said no problem when I talked to him on the phone ...but when I got there he said that he needed the carts, that he had them rented out, but when we finished there were over 50 carts sitting there. Other golfers in the pro shop at the time asked me later if I paid the extra and I said yes and they said they would of left because of how rude he was, I was going to leave but then where would I get out somewhere without a tee time? As I talked to a few of the staff, they said he does have a rude way about him. It wasnt the money, it was the way he lied and said he told me on the phone about the $16.00, it was very embarrassing, wouldnt want this to happen to somebody else. What happened to "the customer is always right" ... even if he is wrong?

I would not say I agree with the previous 1 star negative reviews. I have played this course regularly for many years and ive never had the type of service but they suggest. I would agree that there could be some work done on the conditions. The course is not in bad shape! From the center of the fairways to the greens the course is nice and plays very difficult in good conditions. But the edges of the fairway and all the fairways are full of sand and impossible shot making locations. However this is to be said of all courses with a thick sand base. Overall, worth playing and I top 4 course in the immediate daytona beach area.

This course and facility is very run down. Truly one of the worst courses and customer service experience ever! The golf shop staff was rude and has absolutely no knowledge of the game. The lies in the fairways are terrible, there is barely any grass around the greens, the greens themselves have a disease and roll very untrue and the cups hadnt been re-cut for days, the depth of sand in the bunkers was very inconsistent, the cart paths are a complete disaster! The round took over 5 hours to play and we never once saw a ranger. There are to many really good courses and staff in the area to ever go back here.

When first played the early morning staff was curious and helpful the last time we played ( go with a group 8-12) the person was rude when we inquired about why an increase from what we payed the week before .1/12/2016 We were told that our early rate would stay the same. He went on & on saying it was the best coarse on the Atlantic . Ive played much better coarses believe me. The greens are in good shape. Other than the rudeness of the unprofessional person I enjoyed playing there. Oh by the way I play at PGA pres. Derek Sprages coase in Malone N.Y. 5 star plus rating!!!

My husband and I played Indigo Lakes, Daytona Beach today. The course is in excellent condition - fairways, bunkers, around the greens etc. Pro shop staff very efficient and friendly. We were extremely pleased because the last time we played there which was several years ago, the course was not in a good condition. Good luck to the new owner. I would recommend this course to anyone! On another note, the bar and grille was poor service - in fact no one was around to serve us so we went into the Ale House just down the street.

I have to be careful in saying what is wrong with this course and management. It has gone downhill for the last 2 years. I have been told that the management owner has told some of the members there that customer service is not a value to him. If the owner and management could get together and run the course like it should be, then it would be a great place to play. I wish them the best in the new year. I for one will never play there again.

One of the toughest golf courses you will play........black tees are 7100+ and are a challange for anyone. There are 5 sets of tees so there is a length for all. Greens are very fast and every green is elevated so that bump and run will not work. Have to be able to chip up on the green. Fairways need a bit more work but they are just fine. Stay out of the rough. The staff in the proshop are great people. Love it......

Diseased greens. Despite the beautiful layout and nice foliage, the lack of maintenance on the course was disturbing. 14 of 18 greens have 15-25% disease infestation, exposed power wiring (cant be code compliant) on the sprinkling systems, and giant pothole on the cart path. I have pictures to add but it doesnt let me. I say check on the state of the greens before playing this course.

There is never a day I play either the course or the practice area that I have not had a friendly welcome which makes all the difference in life. That goes from the staff inside and outside great atmosphere. As far as the course is concerned it is in great condition greens are in good shape and the ball sits well on the fairways. I recommend this course to any type of golfer.

rudest people who work at a golf course ever. The greens are made of sand. Drive 15 minutes to the beach for the same putting experience. The cart paths have huge pot holes and they have some kid driving around to tell you to stay on them. I dont think the people who work here would play this course. Dont plan on returning with the lpga in the area at a comparable price.

I had read some of the reviews and wondered if they had played the same course that I had in the past. Since moving here in November I realize that the condition of the course has gone down hill and the present management seems inept. It is not the golf experience I remembered. So bad that I may have played my last round there. Two stars at best

The course was in good shape. It poured the night before and was cart path only but by noon the course was mostly dry. Loved the layout of the course. Very challenging golf course but not too tough. Pace of play was good even though it was cart path only. Look forward to playing the course again. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Course is in good shape and fast greens but with two holes the cart guy insisted we come in at 720 despite paying for 18 holes and over an hour and half of daylight. Prices rival the best courses in the area. Well play elsewhere for now on

Played 1/24/17. The course was in very good shape and plays well for all levels of players. Nice little restaurant but took 1/2 hour to get our sandwiches out of the kitchen. Would play the course again but avoid the restaurant.
