For the money it is an absolutely wonderful course. Played 11/12, which is "in season" for Florida golf and got a weekend morning tee time for $33. The course was moderately full yet the pace of play was fantastic, played in about 3.5hrs. The course is short, and the clubhouse and surrounding homes are all small and old, but generally well maintained. Its one of those courses that looks like it was all the rave in the 1970s or 1980s. THE GREENS WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Green, no burned out areas, in great shape and SO FAST. Fastest greens I have played in Florida. No joke. Best greens I have seen in a long, long time. Put the ball above the hole on one hole and had a 15ft put for birdie and I literally just touched it and it raced down the hill. So impressed with the quality of them. Other than that it is short, and fair. Very gettable if you have your game going. Im a 5ish handicapper and it was my first visit, shot 76. I think its a course i could challenge par on when I go back, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The Course was nice and we enjoyed it. I would give that a 4/5. We went to have lunch in the Restaurant after and was very disappointed. I would give that a 0/5 because my group of 3 went in and sat down and then each of us took turns to go wash our hands. No one came by our table until after we returned and then, just dropped off 3 menus and didnt say anything or bring water. After another 10 minutes of nothing, we go up and left and went out to each. There was a big banner at the Entrance announcing that the Restaurant was now open for lunch and also a special on the golf, but the lack of service or attention of any kind really counteracts the goal of getting more business. I thought youd want to know.

Greens are in good (sometimes even great) shape but tee boxes still need work. Its been a couple of years since they rebuilt the greens and got rid of the major issues and the bad crab grass that had rendered it a bad track. Even though the total distance is on the shorter side of things, the layout is tight enough to make it fun and challenging. Always worth it when you can play it for < $30. Once price goes north of that, I prefer Stoneybrook, Eastwood or Twin Rivers.. as long as they are in good shape. (Lived in the area for years and still play this course frequently).

Horrible course. In horrible shape With horrible Marshalls And rude employees. Went there to golf a few days ago and the experience was probably the worst Ive had in central Florida. Very rushed all day by rude people on the course and the Marshall telling us we should finish 18 holes in 2 hours?!?!? Did not get to relax on Super Bowl Sunday and on top of it all the golf course was like I was playing in someones backyard who hasnt been home in six months. I will never visit this golf course ever again and I hope you read this review and pass on it yourself.

We had our daughters wedding reception at the club and it was great. The staff were extremely helpful. They did so much for us that it made the reception planning so easy. I cant say enough about how easy it was to work with them. The manager Scott was open to just about anything we asked for. The cost for the reception was very reasonable, the food was great. The room was open with lots of windows with great views. We would recommend the Country Club at Deer Run for any function you might have.

Course is in great shape, especially the greens. The improvement from its condition several years ago is like night and day and its obvious that they have put a great deal of money and effort into bringing it up to par! (Pun intended!) The entire staff, whether in the pro shop, on course or in the dining room, goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. And maybe best of all, you cant beat 18 holes, cart and lunch (any item on the menu + soft drink or draft beer!) for $31!

Played 18 with my Dad. Great course, and two people to roll on 18 with a cart for $56.00 was perfect. Not too crowded, great greens, well bordered fairways, and the obligatory Florida wildlife made this a very nice course to play for an amateur golfer such as myself. I will definitely play this course again. Cmon winter!!!

I actually like the layout of the course. Some what challenging for a beginner but nothing too hard. The greens are kinda bad, too much crab grass. your ball might moves different directions when it hits the crabgrass spots, like a pinball machine

Good price but most of Florida is...just an ok course not the worst but def..not the best...greens were pretty bad..tee boxes were so so...has potential with the layout but needs work...Lunch was great!

I dont hate this place.They just let it go traps need to redo traps,level greens,give greens a little work and bingo it would like it was 25 years ago

The maintenance is sub par. Greens were terrible and tee boxes were not very nice either. The ground just seemed very unkempt in general. Not worth$18.

Greens and Tee boxes in very good condition. fast and smooth, fairways definitely better than 2 years ago. $33 for my son and me to play 18.
