My golf experience in the Charlotte area is admittedly limited, but I loved this course. I actually just got home from a round and the course was beautiful. I can understand the most recent reviewer who was frustrated by aerated greens, but today the greens were incredible. The course is gorgeous with the views. They do a great job of hiding the fact that it is in a densely populated area. It has some challenging lies and some shots that make you think, but the reality is that the course wont beat up an average golfer. I cant wait until my next round there....unfortunately, I cant make it out to golf much with work and family.

Played Tega Cay Golf Club on Friday! It was in great shape! The fairways are still green and tightly mowed! The greens were very true and fast and the course has more elevation change than any course I have played in the Charlotte area! The course features a wide variety of holes requiring you to use all the clubs in your bag! If you want to play something different with some huge elevation changes and dramatic views try Tega Cay! I strongly suggest this golf course because the course is fun in perfect shape and like nothing I have seen or played in Charlotte. Give Tega Cay a try and I think you will enjoy it too!

What a major disappointment. We made a tee time, showed up and paid the green fees excited to experience this course. Unfortunately, we were unaware and were not told by the pro shop staff that they had just aerated the greens. The greens were beds of sand and quite a mess. It was a horrible experience for eighteen holes. I have played many courses and have had them need to work on the course at times. In previous cases elsewhere they would notify you ahead of time and they would discount the round due. In this case Tega Cay chose to do neither. Great facilities, beautiful layout, waste of money and time....

Carolina Pines/Grande View are in great shape. You get your moneys worth. However, as with any public course - its slow. Could definitely use a Ranger out there actually moving people along! Really appreciate the water jugs along the course - many were empty/almost empty though. Trashcans were overflowing. No use in having those amenities if they arent monitored. Implementing some time mgmt and monitoring course amenities would take this club to the next level!

Beautiful views on this course. Since it is located on a peninsula that slopes down towards the water, there are a lot of changes in topography. Lots of elevated tees and greens, and you really need to steer your golf ball around this course. It is not a flat pasture; plenty of beautiful hills and slopes on a majority of the holes. I tried to carry my clubs, but after 9 holes I was pretty tired going up & down those hills in my 50s.

We had our wedding reception in the outdoor pavilion, food was spot on, service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect, view of the golf course, Kristen was our event coordinator, the entire night ran smooth without any issues, I relaxed and enjoyed our night, thank you Tega Cay Country Club for being a part of our memories for years to come Derick and Julie Whitney

We went for the fireworks show July 4. Plenty of space to spread out and watch the fireworks. Easy parking although leaving you will likely encounter some traffic (on the 4th). They had an awesome school band playing for the evening. The clubhouse needs updates and cleaning especially in the restrooms, but otherwise its nice.

This is a decent course if youve got 5-6 hours to play a round. No one rides the course to monitor slow play. The female instructor also likes to go out and give lessons to first time players and wont let anyone play through.

I played a lot here lately and its really growing on me. The Cove is a great place to get in a quick 9 for not much money and Ive never seen it very crowded.

$20 to play 9 holes with a cart (cove 9) is amazing. Check out the clubhouse for Saturday karaoke and great food.
