Great location for a beach sunset watching. Lots of dolphins swimming near us here lately. They charge by the hour for parking, know what spot number your car is in. Dont try to come here on the weekend during spring break, we drove around the lot with others for over an hour before swooping on a spot. They do have outdoor showers on the South end, and they have restrooms. No lighting in the restrooms, only lit with outside sunlight, so bring your own light.

The parking lot is always full and most of the families come from downtown to enjoy the beach. While it sits on St. Pete. Beach, this is a Pinellas County park, so you get people from all over the county. That means big coolers, large and loud radios, a million kids, etc. Its also convenient with the grocery store and fast food across the street. If you want a quieter beach experience, park at Upham beach and enjoy that end of the beach.

To me the best beach so far. Except for almost getting washed about. The only pain was the day before we tried to head to this same exact location but it was packed. So we went around 7am found a lot of parking spots. Went to eat for an hour, grabbed a few things came back and paid for our spot. 8hrs was about $20. I mean there are little hideaway spots that you can sneak on but hey if its a family thing go early and enjoy.

Yellow beach cabanas are $25(I dont recommend). Blue Beach Cabanas are $20 you can order those cabanas at the "Pink Tiki Hut". Dolphin watching/shell island trips, banana boat rides, paddle boards, aqua cycles and snorkel trips are also also available at the "Pink Tiki Hut". Sorry I cant remember the two guys names that were there Fri 5/19 evening between 2-5 but you two #Rocked

This is a beautiful beach area with really white sand that is very powdery in texture. It is too bad the city of St. Pete wants 2.25 per hour to park in the lot for 1 hour. I stayed for a while and snapped some photos but felt slightly ripped off. Next time I will get a hotel near by and bike down to this place and hang out for free until I feel I have gotten my 2.25 worth.

This was spectacular in everyway. The water was perfect. The stand sunset were gorgeous. We were fortunate enough to have a manatee swim right up to us and keep going. What a great treat for our trip. It was an awesome tip from our Uber driver in Orlando to go and take time to visit. Well worth the time and money.

Parking limited had to wait in line for half an hour. The beach is not as good as others near by. The water is not clear. During my visit the water was green and could barely see 2 feet in. The city is beautiful it looks like there is a lot restaurants and attractions.

Beautiful, parking can be a problem ( the lot is small) but the beach is HUGE!!! Very family friendly, and other beach goers were friendly, my kids enjoyed playing with the other families that were there. Surprisingly not crowded for the holiday that we were there.

Beautiful, white sand beach with turquoise water! Id highly recommend checking this beach out if you are in St. Pete. However, do bring some money as the parking lot isnt free, and there are not many spots in it either, so get there early or on a cloudy day.

One of my favorite beaches! Nice sand and clear water. Probably super crowded on the weekend, but not too bad during the week. Restrooms and outside showers are available near the parking lot. Publix and Chick-fil-a are directly across the street.

Awesome beach! Get here early! To get great parking at the front. If you have to park at the back of the lot the walk will kill u! Parking $2 per hr. Plenty of water sports available for a fee. Showers at the exist to wash off. Will come back again

Lovely public beach access. Nestled in between the hotels and resorts. Relatively clean beach. We enjoyed our time here. They have several park benches which was a nice touch. An outstanding view of the sunset.

Cheap parking and great beach access, but if you dont arrive before 12pm on any given day during the summer dont expect to find parking. In the afternoon Ive seen people stand in parking spots to save them.

The beach was nice but it was very crowded. Parking was also a big pain. Its expensive metered parking and the lot is very small so it is difficult to find a spot if youre not there early in the morning.

Very limited parking at this location. Very difficult to park anywhere around this location. Other then that, beautiful water and sand. Beach chairs and sun shades and umbrellas are available to rent.

Its a really nice beach with cheap parking options. There are lots of hotels and you can rent chairs at the beach. The beach is very clean and perfect to hang out on a sunny day.

Huge beach with rentable chairs and umbrellas. Its a long walk out to the water, but the sand is soft and white. Can be pretty crowded, but is usually quieter later in the day.

This is a nice acess into the beautiful st pete beach but better make sure you go during times that arent busy because parking is limited its 2.50 per hour to park as well :)

Great place to watch the sunset and to hang out and relax. There restrooms and place to rinse off. The only thing is the kiosk were to pay for parking can be a challenge.

We spent many hours on this beach.. I prefer it over the Clearwater Beach for a number of reasons.. hit it at the right time and you can have a very peaceful visit.

Its location is well-centralized, within a few yards to some bars and restaurants. Parking spots are limited during high-peak seasons. Parking rate is a bit high.

Horrible parking. Came here on a Saturday and there was just a circle of cars going around. Nowhere else is there public parking along St Pete. This is a joke.

The sand here was amazing!! So worth the drive! We stopped by on our way back to Orlando and I wish we could have spent more than an hour here. So gorgeous!!

Great beach access, close to publix, chic-fil-a, but dont park in publix parking lot or A-1 recovery will tow your car, even if youre shopping in that plaza
