Its a hidden jewel. Its a small Manatee County Preserve that sits on Evers Reservoir. Very peaceful and quiet. There is 4 cute cabins for camping, with air conditioning!!! Public boat ramp, with no launch fee. The best kayak launch around these parts for sure. There is a bait shop with all the Live fresh water bait and tackle. They have kayak and canoe rentals and also a few John Boats with trolling motors for rent. The prices are great and the people who operate it are very friendly.. They also work hard at keeping the park, the buildings and most importantly, the bathrooms very clean.

The managers at Jiggs Landing Fish Camp were very nice and accommodating. It is like camping with a comfortable bed. The cabins are basic but clean and cosy. They rent kayaks and canoes where you could explore up the Braden River. It is a calm and winding river with some waterfront homes and some uninhabited stretches. You will see birds, turtles and maybe an alligator if you go far enough up the river.

In agreement with everyone else, the staff contributes to the 5 star rating, kind, helpful, dedicated and really hardworking. Loved the cabin, simple and cozy...very clean and air-conditioned. The concession stand is reasonably priced and has all emergency items and snacks. The site is quiet and peaceful, bathrooms are clean and safe. My 10 year old loved it and we will be back.

Been bringing the kids here for years, before the rentals/concessions were available. I thought that it would go downhill after that. I was wrong. We rented a couple of the cabins for a weekend, even though we live 5 minutes away. This place is beautiful, serene, and very well taken care of. One of my favorite places in Manatee county.

Small escape from the big city life! Lots of dragonflies in the summertime! But they are so friendly its like being surrounded by friends! Great playground right in the middle of it all! A Perfect place for a short hand holding walk in the park.

We would have liked to know that its currently closed due to reconstruction!! We were quite disappointed to drive all the way out there for nothing, so next time well try to find out in advance whether theyre open for business.

This is a pretty setting. Peaceful and scenic. Great for fishing and kayaking. Has a childrens play area, a landing, lots of parking. Rest rooms. A small food and drinks service. You can stay overnight in a cabin.

What a great place. Good kayaking. Pet friendly. Ac, electric. Nice small and cozy cabins. We absolutely loved it. The shop is so cool and convenient. We will definitely be going back. And boy what a view.

This is about a mile from our kids home. Its close, very quiet, and an enjoyable place to hang out and be with nature. Our kids love the kayak launch.
