Another great park that helps my attempt to come out victorious in my never-ending battle with the almighty taco weight. Honestly, I work out in order to live long enough to enjoy more tacos, so it all seems confusing to me. Walking around the park is 1.15 miles, but it feels longer mentally. There is some novelty to the walk (or run, if you are one of those brave souls), including some turns and twists, with benches and other areas to rest. At one point you walk across the lake on a man-made bridge, which is neat. The only down side is the lack of shade for about 75% of the course, so the Florida sun will punch your skin into submission and leave it red and sore for a few days. So remember, boys and girls, to apply that sun screen. Also, if you manage to make it to the park from the horrible traffic that tends to back up and act crazy as if everyone is suddenly casting for a Walking Dead episode-...you can then walk off that stress. I can note that there are restaurants nearby but, lucky for me, no taco spots. Parks are great and hard to beat since they are free and an enjoyable activity. This one is a good one to visit.

I would give it 5 stars, however I think the park employees are being a bit ridiculous with the Pokémon Go players up there. I have read articles of employees complaining they are "too old for this" when referring to walking around the lake telling patrons that the park is closed. I am sorry but that is absurd. I also read where an employee was complaining about patrons stepping on the grass. Seriously?! It is grass! Our tax dollars just paid for all of those beautiful renovations. Paid for the grass. Our tax dollars pay for the electricity up there and for everything that goes into that park including the lazy employees who are too old to walk around the lake. This is crazy! Make people leave at closing, if anyone is vandalizing anything, have charges pressed and if anyone litters, ticket them. And be done. There are always going to be bad apples. Why must Im 2016 everyone still be held accountable for the negative actions and choices of a few?!

I really enjoy coming to this park. Not too far from the Altomonte Mall tucked behind a plaza you will find a really nice park surrounding a little lake. Perfect for running, jogging or a simple stroll. They are pet friendly too, Bella loves coming here and walking around or relaxing under the shade of some trees. They also have some bleacher like seating for when there are shows but this is great for workouts! We ran up & down the stairs Rocky style or you can do squats, lunges, get creative! It was under construction when I went to parts where closed off but most of the walking path was still open and great views still available of the water & park.

One of the nicest place in Central Florida to be. Friendly staff. They are also friendly to Photographer and videographer. I took pictures there for fun and for professional works and Ive never have any issue with the staff or the park goers. They all friendly and always wants to have a conversation with you and your clients, models and curious about your gear. Theres always couple police officer patrolling the area, so it makes you feel safe. Nice views and very clean modernized classic park. Love the European architecture.

Nice place to take in the view. Great walking/jogging path. Lakeside apitheatre where seasonal concerts take place. There is a cool fountain show nightly check the parks website for times as they vary depending on time of year. During the holiday season they have a beautiful light display through the entire park. Clean restrooms and rangers on duty most of the time. They also host red, hot, and boom 4th of july celbration with live music with some big named acts and tons of fireworks.

This is a great outdoor space. Theory I took my kids to go Pokemon-hunting, I noticed that about 80% or so of the people in the park had their faces in their phones. I think it is neat that Pokemon Go has gotten some kids out to exercise, but Id love to see more kids interacting with the environment. Many people walk right by the dozens of turtles in the lake and dont even notice. Ill be back often to get exercise and likely will bring the kids on occasion to Pokemon hunt again.

It is a nice well attended as far as being well-maintained and clean environment. For both adults with their children to go and get exercise and go for a walk around the lake. And also I do believe the 4th is when theyre having Red White & Boom celebration for 4th of July. Which is always a phenomenal show if you havent experienced it you need to. But again this is a very well maintained clean place to take your family and enjoy a nice walk around the lake.

Fountain show set to music, nice walking path around the lake; many pokemon/pokestops here so it can get busy. Nice place for a calming walk before or after dinner or a movie. Middle of uptown altamonte so parking can be difficult during events and holidays. They have smaller events often including live jazz by the water. Red Hot and boom is a great event every year with live music, food and fireworks. Definitely recommend.

Nice park to walk, run, whatever floats your boat. The scenery is beautiful. If I lived around here more I would love it but its a drive for me. But when Im around I enjoy going here. During Christmas they have a good amount of Christmas lights and its nice. Also from my last visit there are a couple of renovations going on. Looks like there improving on it a lot more, Which is always good to hear.

Cranes Roost is a great place to take a stroll by the water or to spend the day catching one of the many live events they put on. In close proximity to the mall and several other shops and restaurants, its also a great place to kill time while waiting to meet friends, especially since it has so many Pokéstops, and the park staff has been great about having players around.

Very nice place to walk around the lake, jog, or just relax while sitting on one of the many benches available. The mall and movie theater are just across the parking lot, as well as ice cream parlor and places to eat. You can even go there at night and enjoy the city lights and colorful signs reflected on the lake, or burn a few calories with a soft breeze refreshing you.

A very pleasant place for a walk. They have a fountain show with music in one area. They also have a floating stage for live music that is used on occasion. There are a few groups that use this place as a location to meet up and work out together. Some people bring their dogs for walks here. There are restrooms and drinking fountains. Very nice view during sunset.

I love this park, even more after the latest remodel. Beautiful lake and landscaping, and its always full of people. Plus, there are always events going on. Its great to be able to come here for a jog or something late at night--they close at 11 PM most nights and midnight on weekends and have tons of bright LED lighting, so its never dark here.
