Ive desperately needed a place catering to someone like me. I have arthritis in my hips and knees and have become sedentary which has led to rapid weight gain...making things worse. When I heard about Westmonte Parks Therapeutic Pool I thought this might be right for me. As an Altamonte Springs resident, all I had to do was get my Doctor to fill out the downloadable Physicians Consent Form and pay $2 for a photo ID. That was it. $2! The pool has a gradual ramp with hand rails allowing a slow descent into the warm-water pool. There are an abundance of water aerobic workout weights, tools, etc. There are scheduled classes led by a great lady named Karen who makes her way around the pool talking to everyone so they feel welcome and can take the right steps to address their specific disability or injury during pool time. The dressing rooms are clean, with private showers w/ fold down seats, private dressing rooms, lockers, bathing suit water extractor, restrooms, mirrors, hair dryers, benches...everything one needs. Both daytime and evening T-pool classes and free swim...which is great for me because I work M-F 8-5 and needed a place to workout after business hours. So So So happy to have found this wonderful place for people like me!

At the age of 40 after suffering for many years in pain . Thanks to the therapeutic pool at wesmont I got my life back and decrease my pain meds by 75% by taking their classes and doing my own thing during open swim. You cant just go a few times and expect to see a difference though this is something you have to work at diligently at least two or three times a week possibly for the rest of your life better than taking a pill any day and the pills didnt work anyway. If youre in pain and you tried everything else you really should give warm water therapy a try!

It gets super busy on the weekend between kids being out and parties. I love that it has a huge fence to keep the kids safe and stay within the playground area. I also appreciate the little playground for the little ones. The bigger playground is popular and usually full with kids. I do wish there was more seating near the big playground. One of these days Ill take advantage of the grills there and have a picnic.

Absolutely a great park, very clean and it also has a swimming pool, to include a small kiddie pool provided for a small fee. Also has restroom facilities, as well as picnic tables, two play areas created for younger and older children. By far my most favorite park to bring my young toddler.

My favorite park to take my toddler. The grounds and equipment are well kept. Two separate play grounds with age appropriate slides and two different swing sets. Not crowded on weekdays. Its a shame that its in Altamonte, which generally has such awful driving.

It is close by, offers a pool, tennis courts, athletic fields and picnic/playgrounds. There are pavilions to rent. It is next to the Seminole Wekiva Trail.
