This place has been yet the most amazing place I have ever been on a 4th of July!!! The excitement of all the food stands, the amazing people that I was able to encounter there, was able to continue to give me hope for us as Humans...there are days in many rows sometimes that give me lots of concern for who we are as people, the way we treat Earth-(the source of sustainable food, and shelter), One Another-(what happened to treat others like you would like to be treated), my list could go on for hours...however, this evening of beautiful fireworks, children, long in-love elders, and pure souls...Rich foods, some with sugar, some with salt...then many others with- sweet, salty, chocolaty, fruity, oozing and goozing all together foods, that gave the rest of the night the sweet summer remembrance for stories to tell, and ideas for dreams many years to come.

A nice big park for multiple children. There is enough equipment for the older kids as well as the younger. They have a splash pad here, which is really nice on those hot days. It is right next to the park, so you could have kids at the splash pad as well on the play ground and be able to see them all very well. They also have a carousel, which is $1 per ride. Its pretty fun and goes a litter faster than what I expected, but it was very fun. A good places for kids of all ages.

This is by far the best park in this area. It has jungle gyms for all ages. It also includes nice shaded seating as well as a water jet play area for those hot summer days. If that isnt enough, go to the classic merry go round for a pleasant ride or rent a water craft for the small lake. Lastly, this park has soccer fields, baseball fields, and a skate park! This park is perfect for all your familys outdoor needs!

I absolutely love taking my kids to this park. This park has lots of new equipment. There is no rocks or sand it has a rubber floor. There is also a carousel that kids can ride on the weekend. There is also boat rides in the summer. There is a spot that shoots out water for the hot summer days. There are tables and benches everywhere. This park is always full of kids. Nicest park Ive been to.

Adults, kids, and my out-of-town guests all love this place. Big open spaces that are tailored for being active plus great sight seeing make it an easy visit no matter your energy level. Adequate parking and facilities make it welcoming for a prolonged stay. The city utilizes the property very well and I am beginning to have some of my best recreational memories stem from this park.

The park is incredible. It is great for all ages, with a lake, playset, merry-go-round, tennis court, very large grassy field, and even an area for concerts (albeit small ones) admission to the park is totally free as it is just a park but you do have to pay for the boats and merry-go-around. Its an awesome park all round.

One of the nicest parks in the area. Well laid out. Excellent variety (tennis courts, basketball, skate, watersports, large playground, waterjets for kids, open area for picnics and enough trails for jogging, not to mention the indoor activities in the rec center itself.)

Totally worth making a trip for us in Longmont! Absolutely the BEST park by far! :-D So many things to do, the playground is ao neat with equipment Ive never seen elsewhere like the bucket seat swings and the splash park is always nice on those hot day!

This park has many activities for kids of a all ages. It has an amphitheater, basketball courts, ponds, fields, tennis courts, a splash fountain, and lots of play equipment in addition to a carousel and trails. All of these things are well maintained.

Cool park, wish they had it when I was a kid. Skatepark is good, awesome playground, tennis and b-ball courts, paddle boats, amphitheater, and the OG carousel from Thornton Town Center aka Biggs!! If you know what that is you are a Thornton OG.

Awesome playground, great paved trails that go around the ponds. In summer the splash pad is great for kids. They also offer paddle boat rentals and a carousel. There are decent public restrooms and a large skate park. Best public park in Denver!

One of our favorite playgrounds. They have a beautiful lake with awesome view of the mountains that you can walk around on the trail. Huge open space for sports or running. Carousel rides in the summer and splash park.

I was traveling through and we stopped a this park. It is huge and the playground is AWESOME. It had so much equipment to entertain the kids with. Great paved trails around the water. Skate park if you so desire.

This park has a lil bit of everything, from the playground that has a Merry Go Round to the soccer and football fields to the skate park to the beautiful lake. All located right next door to the Thornton Rec Center!!!

Multi purpose park. Trails, grass, playgrounds. Basketball, skate park, tennis courts, bocci, horseshoe pits. Lakes. Paddleboats carousel. Skatepark, amphitheater. Very well maintained. Special event location.

The rec center is great, three indoor basketball courts, a swimming pool, and a huge gym. Outside there are 2 basketball courts, some tennis courts, and pavilions. Not to mention the gigantic field or playground

Absolutely love this park. Huge, open, pretty, convenient, family friendly.. Theres a splash water area and a huge playscape area. Carousel, paddle boats, soccer fields... Its awesome. Definitely recommend.

Totally perfect for a family get together... even though it was a busy holiday weekend, the park is so large and well planned, it never felt terribly crowded. Sooo much to do, well definitely be back!

So much fun and so much to do. Great for kids of all ages. On a hot summer day the kids can get wet to cool off on the splash pad and then get back to playing on the playground.

Nice park with play ground. Picnic tables and peddle boats. Bad thing is its very hot there. Not much shade offered. The parking lot is a bit of s walk away too.

Quite big. Childrens park, skate park, lot of places to walk around. The pond in the middle is not clean. City, do some aeration and force the water to flow!
