I was under the impression that the smaller playground was for younger kids and toddlers. Imagine my surprise when I saw a camp group there and 7+ year old kids were on it. I was even more surprised to see a sign that says it was for 5-12 year olds. So you mean to tell me that the larger playground is for teenagers? Did you get your signs mixed up? Also today while we were there, a couple of people were letting their large dogs in the fountains where little toddlers were playing. Granted, they were on leashes, but this is a lawsuit waiting to happen if one of those dogs were to snap at one of the kids. At the end of our visit, we ran into two of your employees. They called someone and confirmed that the smaller park was for 3-6 year olds. So why is the sign incorrect?

Great park and often busy, especially in evenings and weekends. I occasionally run around the lake as part of a longer run. I bring the children to the playground. Some equipment seems to be in disrepair, most are functional. Two playgrounds work for younger crowd and the older crowd. The younger age playground has a fence around it to minimize runaways. The older age playground has an exit high up that I was not aware of. There is a water feature for the hot days. There are a few playground equipment even adults can enjoy. The pavilions at the playground are decent. They are located directly across from the bathrooms. The large pavilions are along the water and a prime location for large parties.

One of the best and most versatile parks around. We live close enough to use the greenbelt to walk to and from for a nice stroll. The park has basketball courts, fields, a skatepark, separate playgrounds for bigger and younger children, a walking/biking path around the lake, and spots to cast a fishing pole. You can also rent paddle boats and they often have have extra events/vendors. Plus Its a great place to hang out and celebrate the 4th of July with the amazing fireworks display they do here each year.

Very beautiful park, ammenities are decent, lush spacious field for soccer or ultimate. Excellent playground area for the wee ones. I really do enjoy the path there, its about 1/2 mile around the lake which does offer paddle boats in summer. Local artists pieces are all around the lake. The 4th of july party is an all day event with a good firework show. They do need to keep the lake abit more clean is about my only problem. Lastly they have basketballs courts and also a skate park that is decent.

A big, beautiful park with a nice lake and large pavilions. This park has events throughout the nicer months that are fun for the whole family and throughout the year people rent out the pavilions for their events. There are always people biking, walking their dogs, roller blading, but they are usually quite polite. Over the summer you can rent a kayak or other fun boat to use on the lake. The playground is large and wheelchair-friendly. When the geese are around it can smell, especially in the mornings.

We went to this park to go fishing since it had a stocked lake. I would not reccomend going there to go fishing since it is a small lake and with all of the paddle boats you line stays out of the water more than it is in the water. It was a nice park the bathrooms were completely unkempt , and with all of the geese there was lots of geese poop you had to watch out for. Overall if you wanted a picnic or a paddle boat session this park would be nice but not for fishing or really relaxing.

What I like to call a hidden gem park. It a beautiful location with a pond and lots of wild birds. Decent playground for the kiddies. Some easy trails. Just next to the northglean rec center. About 2 to 3 blocks south from 120th ave and 4 to 5 from i25. Down side early morning and early to late evening on most days it is packed. Not to great if anyone is not a people person and or clostphobic in large crowds.

One must understand that the whole point of the park is for everyone to enjoy. The skate park is located on the east side of the park away from the play area and sidewalk that follows around the lake. There is plenty of areas to walk, play football, basketball, skateboarding, large play area for the kids, bench seating all around, gazebos to have picnics, paddle boats, and concerts. Its everyones park!

This park has just about everything. Pavilions to reserve, water sprinkles/feature for playing, tons of playground equipment, skate park, a lake with paddle boats, and on weekends youll usually find a stand selling snow cones and another doing face painting for children. Dog friendly on a leash. The only downfall to this park is the mass amount of people who visit and the terrible parking options.

This place has great play equipment and a good trail around the water, the only real downside is that on the west side, depending upon the wind, you can really smell the exhaust from the freeway. The geese and ducks in the pond are very accustomed to people and will waddle right up to you. It was still winter and there were a lot of canadian geese, mallard ducks, and even some all white geese.

The park has plenty of space for picnics and larger gatherings. Theres a playground for kids as well as a water feature for them to play in. There is a small lake with paddle boats and plenty of ducks to watch. The park has a decent sized parking lot and various paths to ride your bike/scooters on. It even has some cement features designed for some fun on a bike/scooter.

This place offers a good play area for the kids and a nice lake to walk around, but there are a lot of pot smoking/drug dealing teens/young adults attracted here because of the skate park and now the homeless sleep along the lake since Denver P.D. has been driving them out of the downtown area. Personally, I drive a little further for parks I feel more comfortable at.

Went here to watch Northglenns fireworks on Fourth of July and they were a joke. Park was packed beyond belief, but this isnt typical of this place. Its a great place for a picnic, they have pedal boats, a big park for kids, walking tails, skate park, and more. Good place for a romantic type thing, maybe not during goose season though...

Nice place to take the family. There are paddle boat rentals and kayak rentals. A park for big kids as well as one for little kids. A splash park. A "skate park" kind of thing. A lake, with a sidewalk going completely round it for walking, running, etc. Plenty of parking. Restrooms in the park area.
