This place is heaven. AMAZING beers. What impresses me is that they do so much well. They arent a one trick pony. Great IPAs, but lots of places do great IPAs. Great stouts, that isnt quite as easy. And the best lager Ive ever had - now that is a style that I do not believe many breweries today have really figured out. The catering service next door dots great food, the atmosphere is so laid back and awesome, and its dog friendly inside and out! Id drive well out of my way for a place like this, but luckily, I dont have to. This is one of my favorites spots in town and I can not recommend it enough.

Great craft beers. The selection leans toward IPAs (as most places are right now). Highlights are the "Lilly Hammer" IPA and "The Dude". The Dude is a coffee brew with a seriously good flavor and not a lot of alcohol. The Lilly Hammer at 7.2% alcohol is a strong beer with a very hoppy flavor. Also good is the "Blochs Bounty" nitro milk stout. The location has a great atmosphere with indoor seating, an outdoor patio with a fireplace, and a biergarten out back. This place does get busy, so be prepared to wait for refills. This place is dog friendly.

Unless you are in the area and desperate avoid; the beer is average at best but the staff was horrific. My wait staff gave standard service, when I asked they gave me what I asked. The wait staff did not try to inquire about me, the wait staff served beer. Also at the same time, I saw the same staff treat other customers the same. In a town where this over 100 breweries , beer is important but service overrides. So unless, you need a beer stay away there is much better places you can go just to get a pint.

Solid place with solid beers. I appreciate the amount of different beers they have on at any one time so that there is pretty much something for everyone. Nothing has blown me away but I would say that the beers are mostly above average. I also like that they have the board which monitors how much is left of any particular beer so you can make sure to try something before it is gone.

Best ipa and pale ale in all the Denver breweries we have gone to. Tried the esb and it was very good also. Nice indoor seating and picnic tables outside also. We were lucky enough to get the comfortable couch and chairs. Growler fills were $16 so way above what are use to. Lots of dogs which we are seeing more of at breweries. Top 10 brewery of the 100s we have visited.

Quite good brews! Nice bar too. Staff was friendly and got me set up with my flight of beer pretty quickly. My only complaint was it kind of smelled like a dive bar inside. Its a mixture of stale beer and cleaning supplies...hard to describe. But dont let that deter you. This place deserves a visit! Maybe I just arrived after they finished mopping.

Excellent brewery. If youre a beer connoisseur, go to Locavore. Most breweries do one or two styles of beer very well. Locavore has several different beers that rival the best breweries in CO. Im guessing it wont be long until they have awards from GABF hanging on their wall and they outgrow their current location, their beer is too good not to.

Fantastic brewery, dont let its stripmall location dissuade you. This place has creative beers with great quality. Nitro taps are smooth. They partner with Roberts, a great eatery and have an innovative self-service ordering system. They even pull your tab from the bar if you have one open, so you dont even have to go get your card! Brilliant.

I have been four times now. The first time was perfect. Next two times I had a few friends and we could not get served and we actually walked out. That was awhile back and our last visit was allot better. Great beer selection, outdoor fire pit. Family friendly. And I can fill my growler here as its just down the street from my house.

I love Jakes and Saint Patricks Brewery for a craft brew but havent found much else until this place opened! Glad I have a third great spot to have a craft brew in downtown Littleton! Great beer and the catering place that serves food (brisket/tex mex style food) is is amazing and goes great with a good pint.

This place is awesome! Most small breweries have 3-4 good beers with the rest being fillers . At Locavore, every beer is amazing. I love that you can see what theyve got on tap and what their levels are before you even show up. Theyre new on the scene, but I think theyll be around for a long while.

Today - Brown 6.1abv great, almost to much ; Onc-IPA 6.5abv 71ibu(?) not today, lo floral, barely a pale, disappointing ; nothing light other than a Kolsch, unfortunatly. - good wifi ; dog/child friendly ; outdoor seating ; menu display is limited viewing ; cannot see from the street.

Wife and I went here for St. Patricks day since St. Patricks brewery was packed... We were happy we went to Locavore instead! The beer was fantastic (Blochs Bounty and Lilyhammer IPA) and the atmosphere was great. Definitely will come here again very soon!

Ive tried a few brewerys around Denver. Locavor had the best selection of beers of any small brewery Ive been too. Today, there are 20 options! The selection is very good and the beer is excellent. I guarantee you will find a couple of beers you like.

I walked in and the place smelled like freshly mashed grains. Good start. Had about 8 samples and everything was delicious. If you like strong beers the barleywine is phenomenal. No beer snob will feel let down by the selection or quality.

Denver is currently overrun with new microbreweries. Most of them are mediocre. Locavore is not. Despite the unassuming appearance of its tap room, this place servers some of the best beer in the city. I especially enjoyed the pale ale

Great beers with lots of different options. They brew anything and everything. Good combination of indoor and outdoor seating and very dog friendly. I rarely seek out an IPA but their Lillyhammer is great. Easily my favorite IPA!

Amazing selection IPAs and each so good! Hands down some of the best Ive had. Their wheat beers were pretty incredible as well. Definitely a must if you enjoy beer. Now, if only theyd start bottling and shipping to Maryland....

Great atmosphere for friends and family. They even gave my two year old son a wooden truck to take home. Were from out of town but would definitely recommend Locavore Beer Works. Kudos on the beer, environment, and service!

They have good beer and we have been repeat customers. However service has gotten so bad that we left after waiting for 10 min without acknowledgement. It was not busy and staff was just standing around.

Something for everyone. Pale ale, wheats and wits galore, beautiful room in a tucked away Littleton locale. Absolutely fantastic!! Try their Jolly Rancher or Black Betty Berry if youre not the IPA type!

Excellent service, selection, and small bites. Board games available. Here with a group of 4 before an evening wedding and it was very enjoyable way to spend some time taking in some delightful brews!

Thought what a great place new. My husband loves beer. Atmosphere seemed great until after 15 minutes and no one offered us service. Highly disappointed to see everyone else around us served but us.
